Go Get The Book-Its written by a CBT Psycologist.
I got over three dozen self help books and I found this to be in my fav list,as It doesnot talk at all about being selfish.Its basically like if you become a strong tree then others can rest under that and benefit from the fruits and shades of the tree.So get the book-Its written by a CBT Psycologist and trust me CBT is god send non medicne psycological techniques or thearapy and it works atleast in my case faster then medicines.I dont beleive in life time medicnes for temp problems.so go for the book.

Great book
I read this book in two hours. This is an amazing book and the author is an amazing person. You want to know something crazy? Read this book and you will find out that it's you and you will change to become your own best friend.

Short and to the point brilliance
In the wastelands of the self-help industry a book like this stands out.Based on Rational Emotive Behaviour therapy and Cognitive Behaviour therapy theories which are actually evidence basedIt contains great advice on how to be more assertive and how to keep in control of yourself and not make yourself miserable. It is amazing how much is packed into this short book.The chapter dealing with assertion is outstanding. He basically breaks down your options when dealing with unacceptable behaviour to four options1: Toleration without resentment.2: Protest3: Separation4: Toleration with resentment.He then explains each of these options and shows you how to actually carry them out. Though of course option 4 is not recommended by him at all!This version was printed in India and though there are occasional minor problems with the quality of the printing the binding is good so the book will not fall apart.

A very good read from someone who has produced a series of very good material for guidance and general reading. Highly recommended for self help books readers.
