These fake apples are fun when you don’t have real apples to use. I prefer using real apples but sometimes it’s nice to have something that doesn’t need occasional management.I like that these are realistic looking. The description says that the material is foam/plastic. That is true. These are unrealistically light. That makes it nice to move around when cleaning but they can also be easily damaged if mishandled.I like these for those times when I’m in and out of town and I don’t have the bowl filled with real apples. The fact they are light makes it easy to store when not needed.

Foam apples look amazingly real, with both the varying shades and patterns in the "skin". The only detail that is not acccurate is the calyx at the bottom of the apple. The calyx is missing and exposes a tiny spot of tan foam. Easy to hide when arranging the apples, or could be corrected by a tiny spot of brown marker for a more accurate look to that area. This is a totally minor detail, and doesn't detract from any of the 5 stars these apples deserve. These look great heaped in a bowl or basket, adding color and cottage charm to your fall/winter decor.
