OX OX-T091024 Trade Wrecking Bar, Blue, 600 mm

I bought this and a sledgehammer from the same company to smash up and take out an old broken path and patio from my back garden.I might not have been up to the job but these were!! I took out three 6 yard skip-fulls of concrete and rubble (I wish I could calculate the weight). I probably should have used some heavy machinery or hired people who knew what they were doing.But these were brilliant! Easy to use. Great weight and strength to them. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy again!

I bought this tool thinking I was buying a wrecking bar, to aid in redevelopment of a property I had bought, but confess I misread the specification and was quite disappointed when I opened the box to find this seemingly lightweight and pathetic little bar.My first thought was to return it, but didn't think it worth the hassle so it was thrown in my toolbox hopefully to come in useful - and boy has it done so!I tried it on a wooden frame which was nailed to a block wall, and found it to be far stronger than first impressions would suggest. I expected it to bend, but it didn't and it made short work of the task.The previous owner of the house must have spent a fortune on masonry nails as they were in every room of the property. The little bar easily dealt with those.I have since used it to dismantle an old shed, to lift unwanted carpets and gripper rods, and currently I am removing a paved patio.Of course there are times when the bigger bar I had originally intended would have saved the strain on old muscles, but this little gem is one of the most useful tools I have. First impressions can be so deceiving.

i know a lot of the reviews point out how small it is, but i was still shocked to see whennit arrived, height wise its how i expected, its just really thin, kinda like one of those big novelty pencils youd get in the 80's, expected something thickerthat being said, its really strong, and gets in some tight spaces a bigger bar wouldnt, gave it a good pounding with my hammer and its stood up to the job of pulling pallets apart so cany complain, well worth the money

It looks almost like a kiddies toy - the size of an average claw hammer - but that makes it a handy size to carry around.Excellent quality, as you would expect from OX.

I see people giving this poor ratings because of it's size, but it clearly states its 300mm or 12" long.Fair enough the stock image shows a larger bar, but you should read what you are purchasing too. What do you expect for a fiver!I bought this specifically for it's size to fit into my toolbox as I don't work on anything big these days and this is perfect.It works just as you would expect, great for removing smaller nails or generally levering things.Look at 300mm on a ruler and know what you are getting. A bar with a million uses!Can't fault it, especially for the price. Recommended.Oh, it's a cool colour too.

I used to have an Old Roughneck Bar. Used it all the time and one of the workers on a site borrowed it. Never saw it again that was almost 2yrs ago as since recently doing breaking out work. I’ve been using this A LOT! and it’s holding up against some tough tasks. Fantastic for the price. OX hasn’t let me down yet.
