The star folds up, and is made out of a softer plastic material, there are no instructions and it took a couple of tries to figure out how to attach the four clips correctly. Annoying enough that it almost lost a star, BUT that was a few days ago, and I think I got over it.The star is large, plenty bright and is being used as a window decoration. It has many different pre set light modes, and also allows you to do custom designs in the app. If you don't want to deal with the app, no worries there is a remote.

I couldn't come to the reviews fast enough. It came shaped like some origami swan like thing, with no instructions. I went to YouTube and they had several videos of this beast and trying to get it together. Honestly, it something a kid would try and come up with. Hey look I have a set of blinky lights that you have to plug into a USB port so they work, and a couple of long tubes that I can stick into a way to small tree topper, and the add a remote....I just don't know, possibly the worst thing I've ever bought on Amazon and trust me I buy a lot! I literally have to laugh at it and me!

The media could not be loaded. I recieved this Star on a promotion. It is made of a thick gauge plastic. Easy up set up. Colors are bright, some of the presets functions on the remote are my favorite. Easy to set up via the app as well. Assembly instructions could be better, especially if you don't have the patience to try several methods. We are enjoying this Star so far.

Very cheap plastic. Lop sided once it is buckled together. Does not go together easily. I could not figure out how to keep the parts together and it doesn't come with instructions. Not worth the buy.

First, yes, for just a little plastic star this thing is really frustrating to put together. The plastic is stiff, and bending it into shape to snap the 4 rivets into place is not easy. Picturing my elderly mother attempting something like this....not a chance. If you don't have good hand strength, you will need someone who does to put this together.Once assembled it looks really nice, with some very nice settings/options. Two big bummers.1. There is no memory, so the last setting you had this set at is gone when you restart it. To make it worse the default "mode" is one of the most obnoxious ones with frantic flashing. Why? That makes this pretty much useless other than for the tree down in our bar that gets used once/twice a week. Can't imagine using this in a daily display, for example, and having to manually set my preferred mode each time.2. I knew it when buying it but sure wish it used a regular plug in and not USB for power. Our tree has a regular plug at the top for the star, but it's not USB (of course). Not a deal breaker, but annoying.All in all it's a very eye catching star, but the lack of memory is a huge fail for me. I would never buy this as a result. I'll repurpose it somewhere other than our main tree.

This is a pretty cheaply made item. It looks ok but the material is flimsy thin plastic, sort of like the material a kids Fourth of July pinwheel Is made of. Not really worth buying.

Last year I did have a star, but it was not lit and this year I wanted to get a pretty one with lights before Christmas and luckily Lumary comes out with these smart Christmas tree toppers at the same time.. I love that this has an app so that I can watch the "scheme" and pick the one I like that day. I also like having a USB power cord . They are also smart with an app! That way I can maybe find a similar scheme between the tree lights and the star ,so that my tree is "sync'd up!" This really is a gorgeous tree topper star if you are needing one for your tree, you might like this one.

This star is literally a piece of soft plastic I couldn’t snap the bottom part of the star felt like I was gonna rip it if I keep trying to do it what a waste plz stop selling this garbage I made the bet of it over all
