Was a little nervous as some reviews stated bad smell, but this was not. It was exactly as descibed and made my homemade lotion beautifully. This was the first time purchasing this kind of product so I didn't know a lot. But it was smooth and buttery feeling to touch, cut easily to measure and worked well.

Very good if you know how to manage, I would recommend searching up videos on how to transport it into jar nonetheless very good on the skin, greasy at first but after a few minutes the skin will absorb so that shouldn’t be a problem

You have got to be willing to whip it up with an essential oil or at least mix with a slightly more fluid carrier oil because no, it doesn't spread (but nor is it really supposed to). Usually Shea is white and that means it is old. This is the right color yellow which means it is fresh and it smells fresh and feels fresh. The easiest thing to do it melt it a little, put it into your mixer (or bender) with a bit of organic almond or oil of your choice and some drops of your favorite organic essential oil and make a whipped Shea butter for yourself. It will be extremely emollient and feel a bit greasy so great for nighttime use or if you are leaving the house right away (or if you can wait around for it to get absorbed before putting on clothes). It really is the real deal - fresh and in a block covered in a wax/parchment paper. Don't buy whipped Shea butter. Take 15 mins and make your own from this authentic and fresh ingredient.

Soft luscious shea butter that worked great in my homemade lotion bars and homemade deodorant bars. It was soft and cut easily. It melted quickly and blended well with other oils. Smell was earthy and musky. In lotion bars it fades after being on skin a few minutes. I like that it's natural so doesn't bother me. Will add essential oils when gifting lotion. Came packaged well in double bags. I can't wait to use it in other homemade products. I'm very pleased with the quality and glad it is raw and natural.

My mother was infuriated when I ordered this and received it, but it was worth getting!It is super moisturizing and hydrating! But in an awesome way!I think it is one of my favorite shea butters to use!And I do have a few brands that I use.Once it is applied to my face, or anywhere on my body, you really can't tell that I am wearing shea butter. It's not really greasy or tacky to wear either. A good tip is to pat it in after you place it on your skin, that way it is absorbed when you lie down or do whatever you need to do. But this goes for any shea butter. It does help to use something like aloe vera on top to lock in the moisture if you want to absorb it even faster, but it already sinks into my skin very quickly! Sometimes I am just surprised at how quickly this really absorbs compared to some Brands I've used. I'd say this is right up there in my list of top five brands to use. I bought this thinking I was going to use it with my wife Michelle, but she passed away on June 7th, 2024. So now I have a whole 10 lb block to use on my own. In the future, if I ever order this, and this is my advice to you if you are one person, I'm just going to order the one or two pound block instead. Anyway, I love the shea butter and would highly recommend it! I only wish that the packaging was better, a sturdier bag would have been nice. The bag I had for mine ripped The aluminum can rip easily as well!

Good stuff. Smells good (fresh, no rancid scent).For my face, I normally choose a more expensive and a more premium shea butter (not this one).For my body, I decided I wanted something a little more affordable, given the volume I'll be using for my body will be greater.I once switched from the premium brand to a cheaper brand in the past and that was a mistake and refrained from picking any new brands.This time I decided to take the risk on this product - I received this last week and I'm glad to report it smells like shea butter should, so it's fresh without any rancid smell or strange color. Honestly it smells and almost looks like the brand I use for my face.Now I'm going to make a whipped butter for my body which I'm looking forward to. Might patch test on my face eventually and if I don't have any reactions I may completely switch for body AND face.I may report back in 2-4 months.Thank you for the delivery and fresh shea butter.
