Outstanding Orchid!
I love building block sets but the name brand ones have gotten so pricey lately. This kit delivers the look and feel of the name brand but at an affordable price. The directions were fairly easy to follow and all pieces were included. It took me a couple hours to get it all put together. This set really delivers on quality. The pieces fit together nicely and the overall build is very sturdy and stable. Bonus: the flowers are articulated and can be posed. The orchid and pot have a modern look and feel. I really appreciate the overall quality of this kit considering the affordable price. Finally, an orchid for my desk that will last longer than a couple of months!

Great looking set with one annoyance
I'm just gonna come out and say it, I like this one MORE than the actual Lego branded Orchid kit. I think this one looks more organic, the pot is simpler and a nice sleek black, and I love all of the detail underneath the plant. There's several leaves and smaller flowers that look fantastic. I think the flowers look more realistic, and I like how bendy and twisty the orchid branches are. The main brand just looks like sticks or pipes with flowers; this one has more visual "movement". It may not be realistic (orchid stems actually ARE straight), but it's more appealing on a shelf to me.So why take off a star? The organization. I do a LOT of these off-brand building block kits, I really enjoy them. Most of them come with numbered bags, and you can work in stages, with easy pausing points when you have to go to bed or stop building. This kit doesn't just ditch the numbers, it pretty much requires you to dump all of the pieces into a pile. I want to say they were organized by size? Like even the first couple of steps require pieces from across 2-3 different bags even within a single step. It was really annoying and frustrating. But the end result was worth it, and I do like this set a lot. It has secured a spot on my shelves as home decor.

I love this kit.
When I saw this kit I knew I wanted it. I love Lego kits but don't love the price of Lego. I have been enjoying similar building kits from other manufacturers in recent years. Many have unique and fun kits at a fraction of the Lego cost.I also enjoy Bonsai and Bonsai building kits. This one is unique being more of a monster plant Bonsai type of creation. I really like the design and the kit is fun to build. If you enjoy Lego, you will enjoy this kit.Important to note that although this looks very much like Lego, it is NOT compatible with Lego. These bricks are lightly smaller.

How much fun is creepy horror? A Whole Lot of Fun!
The Piranha Bonzai building blocks set is a super fun project that has captured my niece's imagination. At first it looks like a regular Bonzai tree but the more you look at it the more it offers hints that it's more sinister, in a fun way! With an easy-to-follow instruction manual and some patience most anyone should be able to have fun putting this kit together. If it were me I would think it would take me about four or five evenings, but I would not be putting in long shifts, just hitting it for half an hour or so each night. Test fittng of the parts proves the fit is nice and reasonably tight so this should hold up well when finished.Recommended for those with a goth nature or just a sense of whimsical fun.

Piranha Plant
This review is for the Piranha Plant. The instructions call it Piranha Bonsai, I think that’s an apt name. It does look like a cross between a piranha and a bonsai. The pieces are normal size, or compatible with Legos. They are sorted into numbered bags. The pieces stay together pretty well. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. But the black pieces, the printing is very dark and it’s hard to see them in the illustrations. Piece boundaries are outlined in red, but I wish the black was just a touch lighter. The finished set is a cool display piece.
