This is a great product. Simple and works perfect everyone that has seen it has asked where to get one from

Initially upon receiving the item, I was quite happy; it did what it said on the tin, and the cap was large enough to fit on any standard sized writing implement other than the supplied pencil, which is the reason I bought it.However, my elation was short lived when I pulled the cord to its full extent (with not unreasonable force, I might add) and it wouldn't retract.I tried to open the thing to see what was going on, but it's a sealed unit, so I unclipped the pen holder and ordered a different one that had more reviews, as there's no pen holder, but there's a keyring i can attach the orphaned pen holdrr to.I wasn't too upset as it didn't cost very much at all and like I said, the pencil holder made it not a complete waste of time. I gave it one star simply for the usefulness of the pen holder for use with a different retractable holder I just bought instead...;o)If you do get one, just don't pull the cord to its full extent...!

Really has saved a lot time for me. Is great for roofing. Clips on to belt loop aswell. Only thing I didn't like is that the circular plastic bit in the middle can be pushed out of the metal frame, but it can easily be clicked back into position. Now I never lose my pencils.

I brought this for a builder to use as pencils in the workshop seem to go missing.The string length could be slightly longer but for what it's initially made for it's a generous length so it's used for smaller wood jobs. So far no lost pencils !Great buy, I would recommend.

Love the retracting pencil gizmo…. None of that scrabbling about for a pencil nonsense!
