Great at removing oil
Works much better removing oil than towels of any kind. I like it a lot.

Very Good Cleaner to Get Oil off the Bowling Ball
This shammy is a thick cloth material that functions very well and it is easy to use. If you put cleaner on it, it will generally take all the oil off your bowling ball. When you wipe your ball, it is very smooth going across it and easily takes oil off. I have had this for several months now and it is a good quality manufactured shammy.

Nice shammy
This shammy is a bit softer than some of my other shammys which makes it a bit easier to conform to the surface of the ball when wiping the ball which makes it a bit better at cleaning the surface while bowling. while using it during my last few league sessions my ball reaction has definitely remained consistent through the night.

Way better than microfiber
I’m officially a shammy convert now. I bowl in multiple leagues and have for years just used microfiber towels because I figured they were good enough. This shammy is way more efficient at removing oil. I don’t have others to compare it to so I’ll leave that to other reviews. But if you’re just using microfiber, the switch is worth it. I mean sure, I can get a pack of several microfiber towels for this price but it’s worth it for something I’ll use often.

The oil eater
I have a 3 pack of shammy pads that I've been using. I wondered why anyone would pay more for just a single shammy. Now I know why.I have to start by saying that I'm just a recreational bowler. Just so you know where my points are coming from. First of all, the Lane Ghost Shammy Pad was a little smaller than I expected. That's not a bad thing in anyway. I actually like the smaller size because it fits my hand better, and you don't have a bunch of extra material sticking out and getting in the way. The Lane Ghost Shammy Pad looks to be the same material on both sides. You don't have to focus on grabbing the shammy in a particular way. Just grab and wipe. It's also thick for maximum oil absorption and longevity. My old generic 3 pack is now going to the trash and the Lane Ghost Shammy Pad will be a mainstay in my bag. Now to try the Lane Ghost Bowling Ball Cleaner.
