Excellent replacement for a PS4 hdd
Although the advertised speed is the same, I've noticed a decrease in loading times for open world games such as The Witcher, Arkham Knight etc. Extremely easy to install asome long as you have a PC/Laptop and USB stick of at least 2gb (I got a 16gb SanDisk USB 3.0 to hand. Total time to install was 15 minutes. Save games game be downloaded from the PSN Cloud or a USB stick. Only draw back is reinstalling games but even that doesn't take that long if you have a decent broadband connection. Worth every penny.

Breaks within 1 and a half months.
Bought this product after having to replace my previous hard drive. Chose WD as I knew it was a trustworthy brand but after installing and the hard drive and using it in my personal laptop for just over a month, it began making horrible scratching noises and my laptop now crashes and boots straight to the bios screen. My laptop sits on my desk at home so it couldnt have been damaged from being thrown around. Poor quality and money down the drain it seems.

Not the fastest but still great.
Not the fastest drive by a long way BUT very quiet and I am hoping, very reliable. It just does the job with no fuss. Recommended.

Great 7mm Drive
Arrived well packaged and in good working order. Its great to get a 1tb capacity in a 7mm design. It was in fact essential for my device so i am thrilled.Time will tell whether the drive will last. Mine is installed in a portable photo backup device that does suffer from bumps and scraps as i travel alot.In operation its quiet and reasonable quick for its size and spin speed.
