Grimm's Large Fire Flames Nesting Wooden Stacker Blocks Puzzle, Elements of Nature: FIRE

I give it 3 stars because it’s pretty and maybe even a little sturdier than Grimm’s but I take away two for dishonesty. Also the insides are not beveled and the corners show the angle cuts. Still pretty but not happy about being misled or paying the same price as an actual Grimm’s product.

I am not sure why my toddler likes this toy so much, but it remains in constant use. He stacks the pieces, lines them up, builds with them, and taps them with drumsticks. After we had friends over for a real backyard bonfire, he started pretending to toast marshmallows over his play fire. I suspect this toy will grow along with his imagination for years to come.As with other wooden toys in this series, its texture is somewhere between what I would call "matte" and actually "rough," but I would not hesitate to give it to a baby and it is already wearing smooth with play.

This is a great toy. I bought it on an amazing sale, and my toddler son is really into playing fire fighter games so this was a great fit. We use it to pretend his kidkraft playhouse is on fire, fun to stack in different ways and son also likes making it into a tunnel. Surprisingly sturdy and very nice colors. The only con i can think of is the wood isn't smooth it's a bit rough.

I absolutely get the obsession with Grimm's toys. We have 3 of these so far, and they're beautiful when they're on a shelf and perfect for imaginative play. I plan to have them for years to come.

Was hesitant to buy Grimms on Amazon because of knockoffs or fake Grimms, but I had a giftcard so I went for it. Seller is legit and the toy is beautiful. My son loves it.

Great addition to our stacker collection. Caught it on sale and couldn’t pass it up. Always love the quality of Grimms.

When I saw this item I was intrigued by it's design and colors. Even though this is an expensive item it is well worth the cost. My 12 month old granddaughter immediately began exploring the shape and studying the colors of each section. It has an interesting shapes, beautiful colors and textures. This is excellent to use as Montessori work and can be continually adapted as she grows and learns. I have since ordered the "Waves" and "Little Flower" which are part of Grimms Nature series.

This was my first Grimms product purchase and I am very impressed. Great quality! I love that the paint isn't thick and doesn't seem like it will chip off like other wood toys. My son loves to play with this and so do I!

Brilliant piece. I love the colours, the quality, the generous size. We are the proud owners of the entire Elements' collection, but I haven't given this one to my baby yet. The Rainbow is much easier to start with. However, until the Fire's time comes to suffer in my son's hands, together with the other two elements it serves as very impressive decoration on top of a wooden black chest of drawers in the living room. Judging from the abuse the Rainbow has already endured and the brilliant way it has been coping with the endless banging and throwing on the floor, I have no doubt regarding the Fire's performance either.

Up to the usual Grimms standard of brilliant!! I bought this toy as a decorative item rather than a toy and it is exactly as I expected: 'fantastic' !

Ich fand Grimm's Holzspielzeug schon immer sehr schön, wenn auch kostenintensiv. Seit meine Tochter nun den Waldorfkindergarten besucht, lege ich aber noch mehr Wert auf vielfältg verwendbares Spielzeug ohne Chemikalien als ich es sowieso schon tat. Darum bekam sie zu Weihnachten nun das große Grimm's Feuer. Ein toller Kauf! Mal sind die baulelemente Turm, mal Häuschen für die Holztiere, dann wieder Tunnel für die Eisenbahn oder sie werden einfach nur so mit einer Ausdauer und Feinheit hingestellt und angeordnet, dass ich nur staune. Auch die 9-jährige Halbschwester, die zu Besuch ist, spielt liebend gern mit den Bauelementen. Das Feuer von Grimm ist also nicht nur vielfach einsetzbar, sondern wird auch über viele Jahre interessant für die Kinder bleiben. Die Verarbeitung und die Farben sind absolut genial, sodass ich mir sicher bin, dass die Bausteine auch wirklich viele Jahre mitmachen werden. Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kaufen nun so nach und nach noch die anderen Elemente nach, denn hier lohnt sich die Investition.
