Instructions and pieces were very clearly labeled making it easy to follow the instructions for assembly!

This nightstand is an interesting combination of rustic farmhouse styling and modern LED lighting effects. It is made of MDF wrapped in a thin layer of PVC, I think, in a distressed white/gray pattern and is held together mostly by cam locks. Near the inside front of one of the sides is an LED light that is dimmable, with a choice of three white tones. The light shines through fluted acrylic panels that are attached to the tops of the bottom three drawers. Embedded in its wood-grained top is a glass panel the size of a smartphone screen containing the control for the light, a couple of power ports, and a wireless charging station. The top drawer, advertised here as a gun drawer, locks when closed and is unlocked by passing a magnet that looks like a chess piece over a specific place on the top of the cabinet. Any magnet that was strong enough could unlock it, meaning that it could even be unlocked inadvertently, so I wouldn't consider it a way of properly securing a gun from any children who happened to be in the house.The instructions could have been better. At one point, a part that did not resemble a buckle at all was referred to as such, with the instruction to push it to release part of the drawer slides leading to confusion, since no matter how hard I pushed on the closest thing to a buckle that I saw, the slides would not pull apart. It turned out to be a little arrow-like lever that released the part of the slide when it was pushed to one side. Each cabinet-part label was printed with the message, "this label may be torn," something that was intended to indicate that the label could be removed, I think. The labels left no sticky residue, by the way, leaving me a lot less annoyed than would have otherwise been the case. Some of the holes needed were predrilled, but others were only marked and had to be "drilled" using the self-tapping screws provided. In doing that, I found that even when one of the nickel screws was called for, it was best to use one of the black screws to start the hold, then remove it and replace it with a nickel one. To attach the acrylic panels, for example, for which no holes or marks had been made, I used a pen to mark the spots on the inside of the drawer fronts through the holes in the panels, then "drilled" the holes with the black screws, then removed those and secured the panels with the flat-head nickel screws. On the plus side, all of the pieces were clearly labeled, identified in drawings showing their location in the finished product, and cut with precision, so they fitted together perfectly, and the drawer slides were top-notch. Screws and other hardware were bagged, labeled, and identified in the instructions, as well, with a few extras of some of them provided. I liked the round drawer pulls, as well. Assembly of this piece took longer than expected, however, and not only because I made a couple of mistakes that I had to go back and correct.Not sure what to make of this. The mix of rustic and modern seems a bit weird, but that is a matter of individual taste. I have included post-assembly photos to show what it looks like. (I can't speak for others, obviously, but I am less inclined to order items for which only a drawing, not an actual photo, has been provided, so I hope this helps.) This item seems sturdy despite not being terribly heavy, but the sides and backs of the drawers are not as high as they could be, as that would keep the LED light from shining through the acrylic panels. It is certainly a conversation piece. Would recommend if you like the look.

They were hard to put together but worth it!

It was a pain to put together. It works so well. It makes me feel very safe as well.

The instructions were decent and it’s fairly easy to put together. I loved that they don’t take up a lot of space, are sturdy, and have motion activated lighting. The mechanics for the gun drawer though need serious work. I was able to pull the drawers open even when “locked”.

This is a very good quality. Its directions aren’t very good. It’s extremely time consuming to put together. Once together is a very nice piece. With the distressing and cross Xs on the sides make it a country style. Has colored LED lights inside that can be changed to match the color of the room. The top has a wireless charger where you can lay down your phone and it charges. Also has a type C and USB plug ins on the same pad. Has a hidden gun draws or safe draws that magnetically locks. Has a “chess piece” that is a strong magnet that you slide to open. Great quality, drawers open smoothly, and is a standard side table height. Good quality and beautiful

Wonderful. It's very heavy and looks beautiful. Highly recommend.

Some of these instructions are out of order, example is you should just install all the drawer sliding brakes should just all be done at the same time not waiting to do the top draw. The top draw works but have to push closed harder than I feel you should. Definitely want to predrill the holes for the acrylic panels that the LED light comes thru. The wireless charger works well and the charging ports all work. The magnet lock seems to work well. The smart human body induction works and is a nice addition, our cats also set it off as well. I would recommend this product, just needs a little tweaking here and there.
