Levi'sMen's The Trucker Jacket, Denim Jacket

Never Goes Out Of Style
Nice fit, usual Levi’s quality. Trucker jackets are meant to fit smaller, so don’t size up. If anything, go a size down. On another note, if you get one with a blank red label, it’s not fake, Levi’s do this on all their products to ensure they keep the red tag trademark. So ignore the 1 star reviews saying that they received a fake.

Excellent quality and value.
I was a rocker in the 1970s when double denim was not only allowed but but was almost compulsory. I've had various denim jackets over the years but never a proper Levi. Saw the price on this and went for it. This is probably my 7th or 8th midlife crisis to date. Good strong denim, nicely made, comfortable. Amazon recommended the L to me and it fits perfectly. For comparison, I am an L in standard T shirts from Next, and wear 34 waist jeans.

Absolutely Love The Trucker Jacket. Great Colour and Quality
Great colour - nice solid black rather than the sort of slight washed black that's available and the metal buttons are all nice and dark too, they're not quite black but still dark adding to the premium look in my personal opinion. Look's great with a t shirt and pair of jeans. The jacket is made in China (what isn't nowadays!) and I can confirm that the quality is top notch with a decent, quality weight to it. I also can confirm that the red tab on the chest pocket definitely says Levis on mine. Another reviewer's jacket has a tab with just an R in a circle on it so I did wonder what I'd get but mine certainly says Levis as expected. Apparently some Levis garments do just have this R on the tab, they're still genuine Levis products though. While shopping around for this jacket I could never seem to find a definite answer to the size/fit of the Medium with some people claiming it was too small, some saying it was too big and some saying it was perfect! All I can say is that I'm a slim build, 5'9" tall and the Medium is the exact fit I wanted. It's snug when buttoned up and I certainly wouldn't get away with it being any smaller, so I guess in general the jacket does run rather small. I also could never seem to find a definite answer regarding the sleeve length so I thought I'd clearly state the length of the sleeve on my Medium jacket in case it helps others in future. From the shoulder (where the shoulder joins the sleeve) to the cuff is 65cm. Finally I thought I'd mention the smell which a lot of people mention. There is an unavoidable smell which comes from the strong dye needed for this colour. The best description is a sort of match/sulphur smell. It's certainly not as strong as I was expecting after reading many comments and you can only smell it if you put your nose right up to the jacket, however I'll attempt to neutralize it. There's lot's of tips on the net on how to do this and I'm first going to try wrapping the jacket up with two large bags of activated charcoal to see if the charcoal absorbs the smell. I don't want to risk washing the jacket just yet and potentially losing some of the deep black colour so I'll give this a try first, but honestly, it's nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. If you're after a classic Levis denim jacket in a really nice deep black colour you really can't go wrong with this. Hope this helps.

A Nice Jacket: Material Thinner than Expected
This jacket is a generous fit. I got a 3XL, but a 2 XL would have fit me easily. I too remember the denim jackets of the 70s and 80s, and the material is a lot thinner. Nevertheless, it looks good, and is clearly designed for layering. The use of a plastic badge was disappointing, but, I suppose they are avoiding leather. Overall a good jacket, with Levi's styling. I don't believe it to be fake.

Good weight Trucker Jacket from Levi's
It's hard to find a Trucker jacket of a decent weight these days. Mostly made of light weight jean instead of medium (Which this appears to be) or heavy weight.Anyway, it's a good solid jacket and well made, as you'd expect from Levi's.The fit is on the large size, so I'd ignore the chart and get either your actual size of one lower even. I went one bigger to start with and it cold have fitted a tank inside it.I usually take a Large and even that is slightly too big for me, but Medium would be too much of a squeeze with my bulging middle......Arms are perfect length, so no worries there. This will definitely replace my Wrangler jacket (Which is really, really thin material) as my No 1 Trucker.Pricey, but it'll be the last one I ever buy as it'll last longer than I will now.

Flipping fantastic - my buy of the year
I bought a couple of Jean jackets but they having a bit ill fitting and naff. I took a chance on this as it was amazing price and glad it did. The quality is great so much better than other brands - it’s pretty heavyweight and looks super cool. I’m 5’11 and 12 stones and definitely a L. It’s true to size but same may want it a bit tighter. It has the red tab and the all legit and the colouring is just really nice. Worn in and you can tell will last for years. Just a great buy at a great price.

Where is the quality Levi's?
Bought 3 NEW medium stonewash Levi's jackets recently, all in size S, and here is my little review1) Made in Mexico, sold in US, bought on ebay.Quality 10/10 - vivid colours and that appealing vintage Levi's touch. the problem? ridiculously too small and supernarrow. For my chest size of 36 I was not able to button the jacket thus had to send it back to the seller2) Made in Bangladesh, sold in EU, bought from amazonQuality 2/10 - faded, muted colours, looked more like some cheap Asos denim crap, absolutely appalling. Sizing? great, fitted as expected ! Obviously had to send it back to the seller3) Made in Bangladesh, sold in EU, bought from theidlemanQuality 5/10 - much better than the previous one manufactured in Bangladesh but still miles below Mexican one that is being sold in US. Again immaculate sizing though (S would perfectly fit chest of 36, M 38 etc).To sum up: looking for a new blue Levi's denim jacket? Seek the one that was made in Mexico and look for a 1 size bigger than your regular. Or browse ebay if you're confident with the used ones.
