BENT shear? I've been unhappy with these from day one, THEY DON'T CUT STRAIGHT! Okay so it's my own fault, as I've just attempted to return them, I can't because I took too long. But I've just realized they are called a 'bent' shear. and no wonder they don't cut in a straight line. Utterly useless. This would be a one start review, except it's my own fault. But then, why would you even look to make sure they cut straight?Update - decided to demote them to only 1 star. If they stated clearly that these are CURVED, I would never have bought them. Who would think to check whether a pair of scissors are straight or curved???

I originally bought a pair of these in CAnada in 2010 when I was living there. Great scissors. However, they have been dropped a few times and tried to cut through pins several times so they have been used and abused. I was delighted to find them on sale on Amazon at half the price I originally paid. They really suit me and do the business. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I bought these for my business which means occassionally cutting through tough cardboard boxes which they do with ease. So sharp they glide through paper in one swipe so proved ideal for Christmas pressie wrapping!Well priced too, so a 10/10 highly recommended rating.

I've got round to using these today,and they are very sharp and very easy to use. I would recommend them to anyone, as they're also good looking. For the price I'd say they're amazing. A pair of the best I've ever had.Plus they arrive the next day. Fantastic Amazon

Just received these scissors. I ordered them because I wanted something to easily cut through a duvet so I can cut into smaller pieces to fit into the dogs crates, my old scissors just weren't sharp enough! These cut through it like a hot knife through butter! These are super sharp, I was worried that if my finger was in the wrong place it would have easily gone through that too!!!! But luckily I was safe and didn't have to find out!Perfect scissors, perfect for what I needed! Very comfy to use!

Needed a strong pair of scissors to cut through some carpet but that can also be used for other household stuff, these are perfect and cut through the carpet easily.

I ordered these assuming the 7 inches was referring to the length of the blades not the entire product. Short and stumpy and no use for garden.
