I used this for my retired horse with severe tendon damage and I was able to keep her comfortable for two years...
My horse had severe deep digital flexor tendon tears in both front legs from knee into the foot. She was "put down" bad, could barely walk and I needed to either get her comfortable fast or put her down, so I threw a lot of remedies at her, including this. I used Surpass prescription topical anti-inflammatory, special shoeing/farrier, daily bute, Platinum Performance CJ, Quietex powder (for calming since she could not exercise and she could get "hot").What works is so subjective, but this product had good reviews, so I tried it and I think it helped. My horse severely injured her front leg tendons while at a boarding facility who made some stupid footing decisions without telling boarders and it resulted in in injured horses. They scraped down to a CLAY base and put sand on top and watered it; it looked nice, but it was like black ice and many horses slipped and collapsed with their riders on, including mine. Her front feet both slipped at the canter and she collapsed on top of them causing many tears in her front leg tendons. After that, she was retired and I moved her to a family farm where she received great care for a year until the situation changed and they left her and the other horses out in a thunderstorm and my horse slipped in the mud and her already damaged front leg tendons were torn beyond hope of recovery. Once we got her comfortable enough to trailer her, we moved her to a nearby facility where she received great care, but we still didn't know if we could keep her comfortable. My horse's vet, who I used for 15 yrs, thought I'd have to put her down in days or weeks. My goal was to just get her comfortable enough to be turned out in a small paddock for whatever number of days or weeks we could get; just so she could enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. My horse was already on some of the above supplements for the initial injuries, but when she was re-injured to a debilitating level I added Surpass and Recovery EQ.With the Surpass and Recover EQ, my horse actually got to the point where she was fairly comfortable, still had a limp on the front, but I could turn her out in a small paddock (knowing that doing so could result in an injury that would require immediate euthanasia, but she needed to no longer be on stall rest and get outside and enjoy some fresh air for however long we could keep her comfortable as a life in a stall is no life for a horse).Days turned into weeks and weeks into two years. There was even a six month stretch where my vet was out for a different horse and saw my horse being brought in from outside and said, "Is that the same horse? I never thought she would move like that again." She had gone from three-legged hobbling and barely able to turn around at a slow walk, to no limp whatsoever and showing some of her elegant dressage horse movement. People asked me if I was sure she wasn't rideable (she wasn't and never would be as her tendons were just too damaged; we were only going for comfort care, but she looked that good). In summary, my hope was just to buy my horse enough comfort time to get her out of stall rest and give her some outdoor time for a day or some weeks before I would have to euthanize her. I would have been thankful for two days or two weeks of outdoor time for her, but it turned out to be two years - a minor miracle.I don't know which products played the biggest role in my horse's level of improvement, but it was either the Recovery EQ, the Surpass or my farrier's creative shoeing. Most likely, it was a combination of the three.

Navicular horse moves better
This is the only supplement I have tried ( and I have tried every thing) that has his strides even and not choppy when we ride.not a cure, but has made him visibly more comfortable. My mare has had an intermittent swollen fetlock and it has not swollen once since being on this supplement (over 5 months) I think the grape seed extract is the primary difference, most of the other ingredients they have been on before.

Great stuff!
This stuff is fantastic....I've have used all kinds of different joint suppliments but this is beyond just a regular joint supplement. My race horses are feeling fantastic...I tried it on two of them to see how they would do and I am not disappointed. I totally recommend this!

great supplement
It has helped both my mares, one with a back injury and the other with basic issues, (was a rescue horse)
