I was sceptical about this as a squirrel deterant but it does work. The bolts to connect to the pole didn't tighten enough for my pole but I padded it out by wrapping foil around the post and this has worked.It says put it nearer the ground, but mine is almost at the top of the crook because the squirrels could jump above it otherwise.So far, two weeks in, it has solved the problem.

Fits on my existing feeder without any problem. Excellent for the purpose.

Plastic not metal. The item received isn't the same as advertised. The clips to hold it to post were too big and again not as advertised. The skirt was plastic and there were no ties just little cut out flaps that you were supposed to press into cuts on other side. Didn't work, couldn't get it to hold together. Refund requested but not received. Don't buy. False advertising.

But expensive but difficult to find these itens made in EnglandThe part that fifa on the upright of the bird feeding station didn't go together very easily

Why are these not available in the UK; they probably are but not according to Google. Much better than the plastic counterpart which smashed when a strong wind blew over the feeding station (and the fixing components had also been well chewed by squirrels).Been attached for almost 2 months and none of the 3 squirrels which frequent our garden have got past it.

Easy to fit,most importantly it worked.Initially the squirrels tried everything to overcome the baffle,now they don’t even bother to try.perhaps a bit expensive.but it’s metal and very sturdy will probably last years.Also delivery was very good considering it was imported.

Stopping rats from climbing the pole which hangs the bird feeders.
