A little goes a long way
I ended up buying a few different packets of these for a birthday cake. I didn't think they'd go so far. They had a good shine and weren't so hard that they hurt anyone's teeth so I'm happy that I bought them.

Made great garden gravel.
My friend had been let down by a professional baker for a cake for her mum so asked if I could help out at the last minute as a favour. I used the sprinkles to be the gravel in a gravel garden and they looked great. I didn't taste them so can't comment on that but they did look the part.
