Expensive but a finely detailed reference book for anyone who is serious about their woodwork or needs to learn about the qualities and make up of many many types of wood. Very nicely presented and put together. Classy stuff.

this book is just about the best there is i am a retired joiner & carpenter wish these had been available when i was a youngster i bought this for my grandson whi is learning all about wood used in furniture as he is learning to be a auctioneer i think this will be gerst for him

If you need to recognise or are interested in learning about commercially used woods, then this is a very useful book to have.
