Just what we needed
The hot summer months kicked into touch with this fan, great value, done the job well.

Apart from being inexpensive, it is available, unlike the others.
The fan delivered is circular in shape and not square as the one in the picture. It does say that the picture is for illustration purposes only, though. How does that help, as my fan is different but is still stated to be an Argos fan. Nothing is written on the fanIt states it is refurbished and I have no argument on that. The fan has worked well for the three days I have had it. There is a little rattle, but that is easily rectified by letting the fan rest at the top against, say a wall. This does send the cool air slightly upwards but the overall effect is still excellent. I stand the fan on a small cabinet about fourteen inches high. This then directs the air across the top of the bed which is what my wife and I like.I hope I will find the fan lasts, as we tend to turn it on every night, summer or winter. We bought a new one as the old one stopped working after 15 months of nightly use. Luckily there was a 2 year guarantee and a refund was received within 10 days. They did NOT even ask me to return the old fan.( This is what I meant to say in my earlier review. My apologies for the " typo".
