These are great to carry jus the tackle that you need. I purchased a handful of these for different species and types of rigging. They are portable and fit in the cargo pocket of my shorts and the back pocket of my pants. buy these now if you want to downsize or just want to minimize what you carry on the go.

I don't know why everybody is having problems with these 3214 boxes. I've been using them for years - at least 10 years - the brownish kind that's labeled "Micro Mag". I've never had a single problem with them and I prefer them over the 3414 soft plastic white ones, although these are slightly heavier than the 3414's. When I want to just carry one little kit in my vest or pocket, these are perfect. I've accidentally dropped them on hard surfaces without any breakage or cracks. Of course, I'm sure there's a limit to how much abuse they will take, but if you're careful with your fishing gear there should be no problem.Since I gave two of them away to my son and wife, I needed a replacement. I tried to consolidate all of my trout gear into one, but found I could be a little more organized with two. I use one for all my terminal tackle, hooks and weights (separated by size) and I'll use the other one for all my lures. The problem I have with the white 3414 box is that the lids don't seal tightly. Every one I've ever had or inspected on the shelf has the same issue. The lids are slightly bowed out. So, when you put a bunch of tiny #14 hooks, swivels, and the like, they always end up migrating to another section. Really irritating. That NEVER happens with the hard 3214.When I saw these green ones (I've never seen them in the stores), I thought it was perfect. I like the color and it differentiates between my brown one. Comparing it to my old brown one, it is exactly the same - except mine is not labeled Micro Mag like in the picture. The top is just kind of plain with a small Plano logo. I actually prefer this because it makes seeing the contents easier.As far as all the complaints with the latches not catching, I have NO idea what that's all about. I've handled dozens of these things and never seen that problem, nor have I ever gotten one that didn't work perfectly. You'd have to have pretty poor quality control to let so many go out into the market as seem to be reported, and I personally think Plano has pretty good QC.

Cheaper than buying these in stores, and love the small size for tiny jig heads!No complaints, If you need one, this is the place.

The Plano Stowaway Micro Organiser is a beautiful shade of green, small, but not too small. The double-sided feature makes it more effective— a more efficient use of space.Dark yet translucent, it’s possible to discern the contents, with some sunlight/UV protection.Each side has a different configuration, increasing the possibility of securing an appropriate fit.Appears to be weather/water resistant, not waterproof. And, while solid, not crush-proof.Mindful of its limitations, it has great potential. Looking forward to using it!!;)!

Pocket size, 2-sides, allows terminal tackle in one side and soft baits in other side. I clip it to my pfd with a carabiner when kayak fishing. Bought several, each one specific for target species, salt or freshwater.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this exact model from Plano in Walmart in 1990. Had mine till this year. 30 plus years. Dropped it in my boat and one of the latches finally broke. So ordered a new one from Amazon. Not the same color. Original was the Plano gold. This one is green. But I was like what’s the difference. Well apparently Plano has cut some costs. This thing, is not as sturdy. And the latch on this one is barely there. I put a couple of lures in it. And just turned it upside down and everything came out. Went to return it day after I got it. NO Returns. Awful. Do not buy.

Good stuff for screwdriver bits. Lots of little compartments for each different type and size of bits. As some have said, the plastic is a little softer than than the green version of this, so lid does not sit firm on the compartment dividers. I can see little hooks and swivels not staying in the right compartment. Pay a little more and get the green one for little fishing tackle. Use this one for larger things like bits.

Had to replace the warped trout magnet boxes and these are exact same size and fit in breast pocket. The compartments are the same as the trout magnet boxes, the only difference I see between the two is the Plano is clearly higher quality.

Perfect fot snaps, split rings, sinkers and small hooks.

Handy for stuff other than fishing gear. Carry a selection of fuses in my tool box in it.

Great to keep in your fishing vest.

Compact size. Serves the purpose. Good quality.
