egymcom Chorme Adjustable Dumbbell Set with Storage Case 33 Lbs and 66 Lbs two size can be chosen (Pair)

I just received my order of Egymcom Chrome Adjustable Dumbbell set. Let's start with the frivolous. They are beautiful to look at. I just wish they had left the old chrome handle instead of the smelly rubber one that replaced it. Something for Egymcom to consider for the future. I think they made the change to improve the grip or reduce the cost of production, or perhaps both. I don't need a smelly rubber handle to improve my grip, I'll take the chrome handle anytime and just wear workout gloves. Big mistake on their part. This may be a turn off for some customers. But not a deal buster for me. Now to the important stuff. These dumbbells are solid and definitely heavy for someone who is beginning to get back into working out. Each dumbbell weights 16 1/2 lbs. Try doing 3-6 sets of laying down bench presses with each set consisting of 10-15 repetions. I definitely know from experience that by the 3rd set, as soon as fatigue slowly sets in you'll think your pressing 50 lbs dumbbells. I was a little hesitant when ordering because of the "lite weight" appearance. They say looks can be deceiving, how true. The locks on these babies lock the plates securely. Nothing moves except your arms and the dumbbell smoothly and no rattling. A few of the reviewers mentioned that the plastic case they received was cheap and damaged. That is not my take on both fronts. The package arrived in exceptional condition. Kudos to USPS. The plastic case had no damage, and is sturdy enough to hold the equipment to move it around conveniently to a park, garage, office etc., If you throw it down with the equipment inside, surely you'll turn it into something cheap. Don't abuse it, and this case will last you long enough to pass it on when you are ready for the 66 lbs set Egymcom also sells. Those dumbbells each weigh 33 lbs. Now you're playing with the big boys. I recommend this purchase without reservations as to its quality. Buy them you won't be disappointed. As to the smelly handles, that's a personal thing. I'm going to clean them with a damp cloth with mild dishwasher detergent, and then rub them down with a dampened cloth with Fabreze. Remember, this is working equipment. It's not something you're going to wear to sport around in. Great purchase no regrets. Good luck if you purchase.

I had to contact seller with small issue with shipment. They got back to me very quickly and remedied my concerns immediately. The product is beautiful and very easy to use and assemble. It's exactly as described and I know I'll get many years of use out of it. Again, product is high quality and seller has excellent customer service.

very rough, poorly made/machined. I had to return it because one of the locking nuts was defective. Overall.... it's so poorly made that I'd say it's worth about 1/10 of the sell price.

Nice set but the case came broken and unusable, which was one of the main selling factors for me. ☹️

I read a lot of the reviews on similar but less expensive dumbbell sets. Many complaints about quality ranging from case odor to loose locking collars. The product I received (with case) was everything I anticipated. Worthy of mention is the locking rings have an integral rubber o ring that prevents it from working loose, rubber grip is slightly larger in center for a superior hold. I could have used milk jugs if I wanted cheap. Not disappointed.

I purchased these dumbbells along with a weight bench to start working out at home instead of just relying on my daily gym attendance. The padding on the bar makes them very easy to hold with good grip as well. The plates go right on without a problem, and the locking nuts feel solid. When exercising I can tell you the padding on the handle of the bar is very comfortable to hold in my palm as I complete my reps. My only complaint is that I did not receive the dumbbell coupler piece that is suppose to be able to convert the dumbbells into a barbell. Besides it missing that piece I must say I enjoy these dumbbells, and the case is very handy for packing up or storing any additional plates you may or may not want to use. Overall a good product for the price and I've heard that Egymcom's customer service is pretty good as well(not from first hand experience) I may just try my luck with them and see. None the less a solid purchase.

Man, these are great. I'm a mobile fitness coach which means I travel to people's homes or offices to help them exercise. There are other, more fancy-pants adjustable dumbbells out there that cost 3 times as much, but I don't care about fancypants, I just want to get my equipment into the clients' homes as efficiently as possible. This one set of dumbbells gives me a lot of options, and changing weights is very simple-- not a lot of fussing around. If you're a traveling fitness coach, I recommend these!

Got them for my daughter for Christmas, she loves them. She said the weights were really pretty easy to change
