Outdoor Revolution Cable Tidy Reel - For 25M Lead

Whilst the plastic product is a little flimsy, the cable reel serves its purpose and is very good value given the price. I use it for a 25m long power cable, and it is just about big enough for that length.

The product does what it is advertised to do.

There is too much flashover when this item is made, this is not cleaned off prior to assembly resulting in the winding handle jamming. However a sharp Stanley blade cleaned up the problem a along with a squirt of WD40 to ensure some lubrication. I suggest you buy something with a bit more quality

Lightweight, flexible, takes up hardly any space and easily holds 25mtrs of 2.5mm arctic cable for the caravan hook-up. A little silicone spray to the revolving green handle makes for very easy winding and the reel means no more kinks and tangles. I purchased from 'Purely Outdoors' who dealt with a query almost instantly and with a genuine desire to give best customer support and therefore deserve a "Highly Recommended" rating.

No more getting on site and spending 15 minutes un-ravelling the electric cable for my caravan.

I used it to put the Christmas lights on it, worked perfectly, great buy.

Can’t believe this is an Outdoor Revolution product. Flimsy build quality with cheap plastic used. The winding mechanism is very poor quality and sticks due to poor finishing on the internal plastic cylinder causing friction. Would not recommend.
