Pet Collar Charm, Saint Francis of Assisi, Small, Antique Copper

I bought this for our cat's collar hoping he wouldn't object to it. It is lightweight yet looks substantial it fits all the necessary purposes. I like it very much, it actually goes with him and his collar color-wise. Will it keep him safe? The medal alone, no. It's only a symbol and not something miraculous. It is just an outward symbol of our belief in the benevolence to animals of St. Francis. Whatever happens to our cat St. Francis will be there to comfort him. We do our part by feeding him properly, loving him, and seeing that he has his yearly vet checkups. I do love this medal, it's not too big, and, as I said, lightweight, a pretty color, and a great symbol of our faith which extends, unknowingly, to our lovely companion.

Looks copper, but is copper finish. I had it on my cat's collar for a couple days but removed it. Now it's been on my newly-adopted dog's collar since Saturday (5 days). The metal is very soft and already the back finish is worn off from rubbing on his dog license. Sadly, it's not running on the punched side. I put the back side of the medal against the smooth side of the license, and it's already worn in 5 days. Disappointing to say the least. Beautiful medallion as long as you don't plan on having your dog wear it with his tags.

bought this for my pup, to hide in her new collar. it is realy small, the same size of a penny, the exact same size of a penny, i meshed em together. no one will know its there, but me. in a nasty world, i could use a bit of luck, and something to keep an eye out for her, when i cant.

Love for the dog

The charm is beautiful but very small. I have boxer and this would not be nearly large enough to add to his collar. I would only recommend this for small dogs.
