Darice 9184-11 Wood Tepee Kit

This is much bigger than I expected but it will do for what I plan to use it for. It didn't come painted which I thought it was. But I guess it makes it more crafty for me to complete the painting on my own. I just have to get the correct paint for it and put it together. Shipping was fast!! Overall I am pretty happy w the purchase. It was so cheap to buy too!!

Not what I was expecting. The tipi covering material is paper. I used the paper cover as a template to make one out leather and another out of canvas. Also I remade the bottom because the one supplied is two pieces, very flemzy. Just be creative if you purchase it.

Brand New is as described, easy to put together,can use another material for The Tepee covering.

The actual tepee material is literally just a regular piece of white printer paper cut to size. It's not kind of cream colored like the picture its plain basic white, thin paper that has been folded several times and therefore has lines in it that look terrible.It was missing a couple sticks and one stick was only half the size of the others and couldn't be used. Luckily I had some similar sticks and I just added my own and it was fine.We did use this kit for my son's project but we bought a separate "hide-like" material to use for the tepee instead of the cheap paper it comes with.Overall for the price and ease of having just the tepee base, it was worth the $4 and change.

Haven't built it yet, but the kit looks great and the price was fantastic.

The wood pieces are very difficult to glue and stay in place while drying. The paper provided is plain, thin everyday white paper. We made it work with some changes, but this kit was a real disappointment.

Picture was very misleading. The wood is light tan and the paper is actually just white paper.I bought these for center pieces for a "young wild and three" party so I actually cared that I had to work to make the design look equal and not just like paper.

I thought this Tepee would come already put together, but it didn't, and I was so so glad! It was so much fun putting it together with my sons, they loved making their own tepee! I also really like that it is made of wood and the outside is paper! After putting it together my children painted it. This tepee is also much larger than it looks, it stands about 4-5 inches off the ground and about 6 inches in width.
