For playing pickleball, you need a good fitting hat that won't fly off your head. So it needs to fit well to wick away perspiration and stay on your head. I call these "caps" as opposed to "hats" that do not form fit to your head. This hat form fits very well and looks good on the courts! I've gotten lots of compliments on the style of this hat.

if you are a runner who frequents 1) the sun and/or 2) hot humid conditions this is for you at a great price. quite light -- going on a trip, throw one of these in the suit case. If you're running marathons, check the UV rating; may not be adequate if you're in direct sunlight for hours. fine for a 5 K runner!
