Can u give me an idea of a reasonable ballpark price range to charge for photo/art prints, tocover cost of this printer supplies/ink and still profit?

I estimated the materials cost for a 13x19 print, including depreciation, ink, and premium paper, is somewhere around $8.00 (+/-) each.  It eats ink like crazy, especially if you don't print every day.

Add another $5-$10 for time + labor to get your production cost.

Conventional wisdom is to charge at least 300% of your production cost.

Question 2

Does this printer come with the ink cartridges?

Yes. It uses a lot of ink however. I found the cartridges are SUPER easy to refill from compliant inks from the refill markets. Will save you $$$$$. The cartridges are chipped so if you do go the refill route you will need to get the chip re-setter sold separate with the refill inks. This way the printer will not keep telling you the tanks are low after you fill them.

Is the ink cartridge bigger than the canon pro 100?

There are a total of 10 in the pro 10 with additional chems to extend picture life.i am not certain , but I believe I remember reading that the pro 10 are 7 ml and most others are 6. The major difference is the addition of flat black and gloss black photo cartridges. I replaced a canon 9000 II. The canon pro 1 is another step up with 12 cartridges. Idi look at another printer, I believe it was an Epson that did 18 x 24 with 80 ml cartridges but price was well over $1000 new, and I wasn't comfortable with not being àble to get good answers from the seller on a used one. I do know that the cartridges last longer than my 9000, but are not available locally. Good luck with your purchase with whatever you choose. I have always been happy with Canon printers and Nikon cameras.

Question 4

Should we leave this printer on all the time to save ink, or I should turn it off via it's own power switch while keeping it plugged in? Does it matter on ink usage?

If you leave it on all the time you will have run the cleaning process more and that will use more ink, turning it off once a day is your best bet with this printer, We use two  of these at our house.
