doesn't work with my VX-5 radio
This battery is a VERY tight fit in my VX-5 radio, and when I plug it in to charge, it says charging for probably 8-10 hours, but then the radio gives me a "charging error" message. Checking the voltage on the radio display, it SEEMS to be fully changed, but that error message concerns me. I would then plug it in again, and again it would "charge" for 8-10 hours (when it should still be fully charged from the last time) and it would again give me that error message.UPDATE: The manufacturer wrote to me and said they would replace the defective battery, BUT 4 weeks went by, and after sending them two more messages nothing happened, so I returned it through Amazon as defective and ordered another. Well the second one arrived, and it does the same thing. I decided to assume it in fact DID charge the battery, and put it in the radio and used it. It APPEARS that it DID charge OK, and it worked fine, so I'm keeping this one despite the charge error warning. It doesn't say much for their quality control nor customer service though.
