Mabua Cleansing and Ingrown Hair Brush - 2 Pack

I'm in the military and so of course I have to shave every dang day. This of course trashes my neck and gives me some serious ingrown hairs due to my neck hair growing pretty much completely flat against my skin. I recently splashed out and decided to try a new Braun Series 7 shaver and while buying that good old Amazon suggested this to me. I said sure why not as I've pretty much tried every other razor/cream/face wash/alcohol wipe/product you can imagine. I'd settled on a straight razor and shaving right after showering for over 5 years. Then I got this brush and the Braun and my neck completely changed in a week!!! They've made an absolute night and day difference and now instead of tons of red bumps and blood here and there my neck is smooth with only an occasional ingrown that I need to pull. I attribute it to the Braun and it's light setting that doesn't shave that close to the skin so the hair never has a chance to get stuck in the skin as well as this brush. Using the brush is most definitely not enjoyable but after a good firm scrub of my neck in the shower, there is a noticeable difference I can feel when running my hand over my neck. I can literally feel the hairs sticking out more. I can feel that the few that may be starting to grow into the skin in spite of the attempts of the Braun are now out of the skin thanks to this brush scrubbing off that fine layer it's stuck under so it can come out. I can't say for sure which of these two things is more responsible for my new lack of ingrown neck hair, although I believe it's mainly the Braun. However, if the Braun stops 80% of the hairs from becoming ingrown and this frees the other 20% than I think it's more than worth the scrubbing. I really can't even begin to describe how great it feels after almost 15 years of a bumpy cut up neck and now it's clean and clear. It's amazing!

This a small and powerful brush to get rid of ingrown hair on your body. I have tried many things, including dry brushing, sugar scrubs etc. but never got any relief from open pores and pathetic ingrown hair. But these brushes do it for you. they are tough enough so that dead skin cells immediately removed from the surface of the skin and you can actually see the result after first use.I recommend it to all who is suffering from ingrown hair issues.

I got the rough brush to help with dry skin I get under my beard in the winter. I use it in the shower, and I have to say it does work, but I think I want to get the soft version. The rough brush is pretty uncomfortable to use, but again, it's effective, so it's worth it. I wish they sold a single pack or a pack of one of each. I can't speak for the effectiveness against ingrown hairs, as I don't generally have an issue with them.

I've been using this brush for about a month now. It's really helped with ingrown hairs. Other reviewers mentioned the brush was too hard for their skin, so I use it in the shower with my face wash. The water and soap seems to make the bristles feel a little softer on my neck and under my chin. I'm most pleased with the results I've gotten from using this on my scalp. I shave my head and using this has helped minimize the ingrown hairs i get around the nape of my neck.I do think it's important to mention that this brush won't fix bad shaving habits. So if you're still using the wrong kind of razor and not prepping your skin properly and not shaving daily or every other day you'll probably still get razor bumps. This brush didn't get rid of my ingrown hairs 100% but i'd say that it's reduced them by about 90-95% and the ones i do get usually don't last long like maybe a day. Which is HUGE improvement compared to my past struggles. But it was the brush in combination with the right razor (a single blade safety razor) and good skin prep that led to my skin breakthrough.

I was pleasantly surprised when my order came and there were 2 brushes inside. The bristles are rough but I guess that's what helps in the exfoliation. My skin is smooth and soft and I'm seeing less ingrown hair. Thanks so much!

Love the product as I purchased it specifically for my foray into using a DE razor for the first time.This product really does a good job removing the dead skin and moving the hairs that may be trying to grow back into my skin. I use it with the Magic Shave brand "Exfoliating Cleanser with Charcoal" and Neutrogena "Deep Clean Invigorating foaming scrub" for daily facial care with an every other day shaving regiment.This product has permanently replaced all the "buff puff" variants and exfoliating skin Gloves I have used over the past 10 years.

I found the description of the product confusing, so to clarify: this is a nail brush. The size, bristle stiffness, and design are pretty much what you'd find on nail brushes available in any drug store. It's not a new product specifically for your face or ingrown hairs.That being said, it's intelligently designed. The handle is really convenient and allows you to wrap you fingers and thumb around it comfortably for good control while you're brushing. The edges are rounded, which makes it more comfortable to use than brushes with square corners. The quality seems fine and I like that it came in a two pack. I'll be using this regularly.

The plastic brush is great, wish I could have found just that instead of the combo. Ended up giving the other brush to goodwill.
