Scepter Neptune 3 Gallon 11.4 Liter EPA + CARB Tank, Red, 8590

I used this gas tank to extend the run time on my portable 2000 watt Honda generators. Using Yamaha fuel line connectors and an aftermarket Honda gas cap with a 1/4 inch pipe threaded hole on top, I connected a fuel line between the marine gas tank and the Honda generator gas cap. The fuel pump on a Honda generator is strong enough to suck the gas uphill from the marine fuel tank to the Honda generator gas cap, thus replenishing the gas in the Honda generator reservoir as the gas is used. It is also possible to use a T-fitting and run 2 Honda generators at the same time from one marine gas tank. Way cool! Especially when running an air conditioner in an RV all night off the grid. I get about 30 hours of continuous run time using this fuel tank connected to one 2000 watt Honda generator. If I connect two 2000 watt Honda generators to this fuel tank while running the A/C, I'll get about 18 hours of continuous run time on both generators.

Perfect size for small boat, small engine. Easy to carry around, even for younger people. The fuel outlet looks a little "wimpy", but we'll see. That's is the only concern I have and justifies 4 stars.
