Reese Holland Rusk Light, Crisp Toast, 3.5-Ounce Package (Pack of 3)

I love Rusk, but shipping it means it needs better packaging. Several pieces were broken.

I cannot buy these in my little town, although that store got me started. I use them as dippers for melted Brie cheese. Complement each other. I like a cheddar cheese melted over an egg deposited on a Holland Rusk round. Taste and texture. A Holland Rusk round is a great carrier for dips and foods. The texture is a crisp bite that does not jab lips, tongue, gums entering the mouth. They disintrigate in your mouth leaving the food carried there a tasty delight. I can find no other substitute for Holland Rusk. 07/23/21

I love these holland rusk, used them in the restaurant business for years, however, I ordered these for home, the page states they are returnable. Received these, well packed, well cushioned, open the first pack, crushed, second pack, crushed, last pack, crushed, and I don’t mean broken in half, I mean little bits and pieces. As well as they were cushioned and pack leads me to believe they were damaged PRIOR to shipping, not during shipping. I decided to contact seller and get them replaced, as I fill out the form it pops up, “This item is not eligible for return/refund”. So if you do order and they come crushed, you are out of luck, if they come in tact, these are excellent for French onion soup

I have been eating these Dutch rusks my whole life and were really missing them because they are hard to find, so was really happy when I found out Amazon sells them and promptly bought some, they taste great with almost any topping on them! They arrived with only the top rusk broken, so that was pretty impressive! Very happy and highly recommend!

I knew it was a very high risk, but every single toast is broken. This is despite the fact that they were well wrapped in bubble wrap. Regardless, the toasts were fresh-tasting and delicious. I will probably order again since none of our local grocery stores carry rusks any more.

Our family has baked a special pie forMany years using this product. We would not be able to make the pie without it. Please don’t ever stopmaking it. We are the only ones whomake this pie and the recipe goes back generations and is delicious.Thank you!

My aunt used to bring these out to my uncle for morning snack on the farm. Ever once in awhile I want some. Wonderful memory. Just wish they came whole. Shipping seems to break them up a lot.
