The Bebop Ballad of Boudicca: A fact filled history song by Suzy Davies (Songsheets) Audio CD – Audiobook, 1 Mar. 2005

Used this song along with others for a family service at the end of our Roman project. The children learnt the words quickly as it was catchy and they all enjoyed singing it.Had lots of comments on the song by parents. Would dffinitely recommend this song to anyone who wants lively, catchy m usic to be included in a Roman or Celt project.

The children in my class have loved this song and look forward to practising it for their Roman vs Celts play.

This is an excellent resource for the confident or inexperienced teacher, the song is suitable for ks2 children and is catchy and upbeat. It's reasonably easy to learn the song and the 3 part arrangement sounds pretty impressive.

this was a replacement for one 'mislaid' at school. Its a great song about Boudicca, the year four kids I teach really enjoy acting it out Would recommend it to everyone who teaches the Romans in Primary school

This is a fantastic song to compliment history topics on the Roman invasion of Britain. I used this with a year 3/4 class, the children were highly motivated to learn the song because of the catchy tune. The CD backing is brilliant (no need to play piano though a piano part is included). Musically it gives the children the opportunity to sing in parts and historically it builds on their knowledge. We used this song along with Just like a Roman for an open evening and we had the parents singing along too. Brilliant
