Fool's Gold Pyrite Excavation Kit

Object lesson for a children's message in church
I ordered this product in order to use the two samples of pyrite ("fool's gold") in a children's message at our church. The Scripture passage for the day (Oct. 20) is Romans 8:1-8, and the sermon title is "Personal Happiness vs. God's Happiness." For the children, I want to highlight with them the fact that "fool's gold" looks like gold, but in reality it is not valuable. The adult message will sound the same theme in a spiritual sense--i.e., "personal happiness," if based on one's own selfish desires, looks like a worthy goal to pursue--but in reality it is neither valuable nor satisfying. . . . .The kit, when it arrived, was lacking the magnifier listed on the box, and the two samples of "fool's gold" are encased in plaster (for the intended recipient/child to "excavate," using the enclosed digging tool and brush). I have not yet "excavated" the rock samples--but I assume they will be satisfactory. I do not need the magnifier for the children's message, so I am not complaining about its lack in the shipment.

Two normal rocks and not pyrite?
A bit confused by the product. The package shows pyrite as well as the description on the side of the box but my son was disappointed to find just two normal rocks inside the clay?

Not at all like the picture
I bought this for my son's birthday. He loves gold, even if it's fake...except, these were just gray rocks. Not at all like the picture. We can find these in our backyard. Very disappointed. Don't buy this. (Luckily my son is a sweet kid and was not unhappy- he likes any rocks!)

Not as advertised
Kit was missing tools and the pyrite was not gold at all. Just slate looking rock - box photo completely misleading.

Nothing shiny about these!
Just dull gray rocks. This was a joke. My kids thought they were limestone. Bad item!
