Good, strong antennas for mobile use
Good, strong antennas for mobile use. My company uses them on our ships - we mount an array of 8 of these as high as we can get them (usually around 40'), and connect them to a Peplink HD4 to provide the crew with internet connectivity across 4 cell modems (8 sims, active and fail-over). We have servers and other systems aboard, as well as business email, project people using Dropbox, etc. and we use a combination of (slow) satellite and cell to provide access. Cell is faster and therefore preferred, but our vessels are often 20+ miles offshore. An array of these antennas will take 2G and iffy 3G and improve it well into 4G LTE (-90s db to -70s at 17 miles offshore and ~40' off the water), usually giving acceptable access to 30-40 people.

Poor QC with reasonable DB pickup.
I purchased two of these one was excellent the other had a broken n connector. Since one was good and the other was not I am giving this three stars.

Forget about this antenna and bite the bullet and buy a quality antenna.
A total waste of money. Worked okay for about a month, then intermittently, and finally crapped out completely after about 8 weeks. Of course, it died a couple of weeks after it could be returned for a refund.

Bringing 4G to the boondocks
I've had great luck with this antenna. I use it on top of a 22' retractable flag pole attached to my RV that runs to a Verizon Jetpack MiFi. I'm often able to get a solid 4G data signal when others barely have enough signal to text or no signal at all. I docked it one star simply because it seems aweful expensive for what it is.I can say that I tried a much less expensive 8db magnet base antenna found on Amazon and in a place we often camp both deliver a 2 bar 4G signal, the Proxicast ran about 5mbps compared to 1.5. Not bad. I guess sometimes you get what you pay for.Edit: In an effort to save the next guy the research for what cabling to buy, I used the following two items with the antenna to connect to the Verizon JetpackVerizon MiFi Jetpack Novatel 6620L 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot External Antenna Adapter Cable - OEM SMK TS-9 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UW1HAPK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_PmEHxbGBZGEETULL240™ Ultra Low Loss Coaxial Cable with FME-Female and N-Male Connectors 25 Feet https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ETTGN6M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_hlEHxbGXRRP3K

Great antenna
I ordered this because i live in a fringe area and could not obtain a good signal level. This antenna has worked very well, I went from a -84 db to -71 db. I now have a reliable connection. Install was straight forward and easy. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Seems to work well
Seems to work well, easy installation. Can't be sure about gain, but is definitely better than the indoor antenna I was using.

Three Stars
My cheaper panel antenna got a better signal. I returned this one.

For the price of this antenna and the description of it id expect a whole lot better then the 5" stock antenna and id say its ..
So im using the proxicast antenna in conjunction with a WeBoost 4g. Ive done extensive testing in low or no cell / low to no data areas. Ive also tested it out on 3 different carriers. I have run these field tests against the stock WeBoost antenna. So far id say for the money this antenna costs im wholly unimpressed. Ive had almost no dBM gain over the 5" stock antenna, no clear advantage when ive run spead tests, and it hasnt given me any signal in areas where the stock antenna couldnt get signal. For the price of this antenna and the description of it id expect a whole lot better then the 5" stock antenna and id say its maybe comprable, maybe. If your looking for an antenna upgrade save yourself $75 and get the WeBoost RV antenna.
