I waited through a Texas summer to write a review and now we’re in a snow storm in the mountains with these curtains. I got these bc our AC didn’t work well in TX with only single pane windows so we needed more help to keep the temperature down. These definitely work to keep out heat and cold. Obviously not like 20 degrees worth, but it was the difference between the AC being able to keep it at 82 instead of 90 inside the apartment (we were south-facing, not much direct sunlight). Now in the cold, it keeps my son’s room warmer than ours. For full effect, you’ll need to have no space between the wall and the curtain, so no curtain rod, and taping the curtains to the wall, but they still help with a rod (what we did in TX). Blackout-wise they’re great, light will still get in between the wall and curtain space

10/10 would recommend! High quality, fully blackout, look great, amazing price.I bought one pack of these for the baby’s nursery in 2020 because I wanted it to be really dark for naps. Even the white curtains are completely back out!There was a noticeable difference in how cool the room was during the summer (115° outside), so much so that I bought two more packs for our master bedroom and another child’s room. We just purchased more to complete the downstairs windows, and the quality is still the same in Dec 2022. They are fully blackout even without special curtain rods that curve at the ends. There are a few very minor wrinkles, but nothing that requires more than a quick pass with a handheld steamer.

Bought these drapes to replace the grey ones I had here as I wanted some color in the room, and the Purple is wonderful. They hang nicely without any need to iron though I will likely do so to give them a more uniform look with the folds. The black out is great as this doorway face east and gets a lot of sunset light. It is also very nice for added insulation with the door as well. This is a very nice product and has a nice heavy quality feel. Quality product Very happy

Bought a set of these when I decided to put curtains on my windows. Really liked the weight, quality and feel of the Nicetown set. Ordered 9 more sets based on that first experience. Been about 6 months and still like them especially when you compare cost to the quality. The blackout feature works as advertised. They will wrinkle and have to be ironed when first unpackaged. Nothings perfect so a small bit of ironing was a small inconvenience for the quality and cost.

I love these curtains! The blackout feature is amazing and the fabric is really soft. They look lovely in my room. I loved them so much I bought another pair for my son because he was jealous! We like it dark in our rooms.When I opened the package I couldn’t believe I paid so little for them. They’re soft and thick. Such a steal. Buy these curtains if you’re on the fence!!! You will not be disappointed. 10/10 would and WILL buy again.

These are great blackout curtains! I’ve purchased several sets in different colors for my house. This set I used in a room that is 20x20 with large windows, they mute sounds and it’s amazing like waking into a sanctuary! The light blocking quality is stunning as well they are lined and in broad daylight and you couldn’t tell what time of day it is save for the tiny sliver of light from the top. The photo/color matches pretty accurately. They are heavy so make sure you get a sturdy rod. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Construction is good, nice heavy fabric. Full blackout (I got the olive green, so can't speak about any other color). Created almost a spooky-level quieting effect. Ran them through the washer as directed on the tag, and hung them up right out of the drier. Any wrinkles visible from being in the packaging were gone out of the drier. Very pleased with these. I'll add photos at some point when I'm back home.

These came real wrinkly, but they’re starting to release naturally. But… let’s talk about THE BLACKOUT. Holy moly! My husband works nights. We had to have something that actually worked. This makes the room pitch black during the brightest sunlight beaming into our windows. If you need blackout, these are it! The curtains themself are super durable & strong material as well. Worth it.

These are amazing blackout curtains. Beautiful and good quality. Completely blocks the sun in my spare bedroom which has direct sunlight. Great price as well!

You can’t put a value on a good night’s sleep. I used to be tired at work all the time. Then I got these. Now my bedroom is so dark I can’t tell the difference between my eyes being open or closed and I sleep like an absolute brick.I use Velcro strips to stick them to the walls and to each other - cuts down on all light getting through around the edges.

I spent a month researching noise cancelling curtains and NICETOWN were highly recommended. I finally took the plunge and got these, like others have subsequently mentioned the material on these curtains is thinner than most regular curtains, they dont look up market and once hung resemble more of a long sheet than a nice curtain. Regardless of the asthetics I was desperate to get a noise cancelling curtain to combat road noise and these were supposed to be perfect for that. I can tell you they have made very minimal difference difference on that front. VERY DISSAPOINTED. If any one can recommend a product that actually does help reduce noise levels from windows please comment. Thanks.

I bought these because I get migraines and sometimes just need the darkest room possible. The curtains themselves are fantastic they block out light, however I will need to look at changing how I hang them because light does escape from above because the curtains are not flush with the wall due to my curtain rod. I find the curtains all hang quite nicely together (I have 4 panels) and I can set them up so there is no light that leaks through its one nice solid wall of no light. I think these are fantastic and would definitely recommend them to others.I have included 2 photos, you can see where the light gets in from the top because of my curtain rod I have at the moment, but that also gives you a good idea of how much light these curtains are blocking out because under that is just darkness. First photo is without flash and the second photo is with a camera flash.(the photos were taken just after I unpackaged them and hung them, the wrinkles you see worked themselves out over time and now hang nicely)I don't know if it helps with noise cancellation or energy savings or any of that, but it works perfectly for what I needed it for, which is room darkening.

Love these curtains! Great material, nice and soft. Specially love that they are pure white. Hard to find a curtain without the greyish tinge. Had been concerned that the black on the back would show. Doesn't show at all. Photos show the curtains right after they were taken out of the packaging and hung up. Therefore, the wrinkles. Hoping that with time the wrinkles will come out. Have not washed them yet. Highly recommend!
