I bought this dress for my wedding. It was the perfect size and fit. It needed no alteration. It does need a slip or something under as it is sheer in the light. I tried several different slips and went with a dark purple Gypsy skirt under for added color which you can’t see in the pictures, it was pulled it up into the band. I used a steamer to get the wrinkles out of the fabric. It was very comfortable. I did step on the train a little during pictures. I didn’t feel like I was going to “fall out the top of my dress” if I leaned over too far. I preferred it over the $2000 dresses I tried on at the bridal boutique. I didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on a dress I wore for 4-5 hours. The thin zipper does stick a bit when at the ribbon section. I was able to zip myself and turn the dress around and slip my arms in. It was best to have help. I just need to wash it and store it now.

I ordered a few dresses here on Amazon because I am undecided which one I want to wear to my Son's upcoming Wedding in October. I'm sure this will be the dress I want to wear.I ordered purple size 8 which fit me perfect.The purple color is more on the eggplant side which I love ,very accurate to picture.The whole dress fit beautifully. I will not need to make any adjustments. It is long so the back touches the floor. Just for refrence I am 5"7 .I am hoping once I choose my shoes that issue will be solved. Not that it's a big issue .I will not be needing a slip under it because it has basically good coverage with the dress than the sheer part of the dress over it.I absolutely love the V neck and how it has the little pleats as you can see in the picture. A nice Necklace will really add glam to the dress.The back zipper slides up and down easily,my only suggestion is go easy because it seems a bit fragile.This dress was a bargain. I really didn't want to pay hundreds on something I'm most likely gonna wear once.I ordered through the seller on Amazon ,not prime and to my surprise it arrived perfectly packaged in just about two days.I love this dress and because we live in New England on the coast and the wedding is taking place right on the water I am now searching for a shawl to wear over this only for the pictures taken outside.I would definitely recommend this Dress ,not only is it beautiful on but also if your thinking like me and would rather not pay the higher prices for a one day event! Makes more sense so I am able to give my Son and son Daughter in law more money.Either way this dress is a keeper.

This dress came so fast. The dress is beautiful and the perfect length. I would have given 5 stars, but the size runs small. I would say if you’re a 12 buy a size 14. Other than that. You will be pleasantly surprised!

Nicer than what I thought it would be. Because I'm short I will have to have it hemed and taken up a little in the shoulders. Material is nice and I can dress it up with accessories. Prefect for my son's wedding.

This is my second dress from Ever Pretty. The dresses usually run exact size and are great material. The dress is a little long even with heals, but I'm very happy with the fit, feel, and how it looks.

I loved this pattern and the design but when I got it the sizing was tight , I followed the chart and reviews it did fit but the zipper was VERY sticky and hard to actually move. Maybe cuz it was tight but still I had read the zipper quality was a concern on many of the peoples reviews. They were correct.I wanted to keep this dress but inevitably sent it back because I didn’t like the way the bunching was at the back with the zipper, there was a few stitching issues that made it sit odd. As seen in the pic. But the color was gorgeous and material light.

Shopping for a dress when you’re part of a wedding entourage is tough and time consuming Got to consider the theme color, your personal style, your figure and size etc. There might be dresses that you like but one off the above considerations. After shopping in store or online and many returns, I chose this. I picked this one based upon photos and reviews. Color is a bit off the desired wedding color scheme but this one was the best fit for my age, style and figure.Unlike other empire waist dress styles, this dress doesn’t make you look pregnant. Not wide on hips.. Not tight on waist. Structured to smoothen waist and hips. Not too frilly. My only issue is same with other empire cut dresses: boobs pop or look bigger than they are (I’m kinda modest that way lol )Too long (I’m 5’3) So be prepared to spend on alterations if you can’t do it yourself. I also ordered 2 sizes at the same time to try on. I kept the dress one size larger.
