Turtle Mat, Fawn-Fleck 75x100 cm LATEX Backed - for hard floors - highly absorbent barrier mat

I bought this having purchased two turtle mats before and knowing they did everything that was claimed.I have just had a brand new light coloured carpet laid in my living room so wanted another to place at the entrance. They really DO leave dirt, mud etc. at the door . Muddy paw prints are non-existent once the dog has walked across the turtle mat. Colour exactly as shown. These mats may seem a little expensive but are well worth it.They wash well too ! Would recommend 100%.

I’ve had these Turtle mats before and they do exactly what it says they do. My only gripe is that the mats had been folded and even after I’ve put weights on them one of the folds is still there, with it still sitting up off the floor. Please can they be rolled to prevent this trip hazard?

Doesn't slip on Amtico floor. Absorbency seems to be good and it stops mess being brought indoors. Not aesthetically pleasing. It looks like a flat furry piece of fabric on the floor. Not the quality I was expecting for the price.

Bought this to replace a JML mat (which was good but worn out) as just had new laminate flooring laid and a new rug and stair carpet in close proximity. The previous mat was good but you really had to make a point of wiping feet and it did not capture all moisture on shoes. This mat is fantastic. I bought the longer length and it captures all moisture off shoes as people walk in and I have not yet seen ANY residue being taken into the house and we had people traipsing through the house all over Christmas and New Year and with the heavy rain. It hoovers up lovely and even with all the recent footfall, it does not look like it needs washing yet. If you need floors protected then this is well worth the money.

Excellent delivery and although it has only been used for a week the mat seems to being the job. However it does move despite the claims, I have the mat over a fitted carpet and it needs to be re-centred every day. Saw this mat in a well known store but the backing was slightly different in as much as the backing material was covered in nodules which I imagine would provide better grip and prevent creep. Will reserve total judgement as in one respect it is not altogether doing what it says on the can! Update as of April 18th: Mat has to be re-positiond several times a day depending on the use. Not at all stable when laid over other carpets/fitted carpets.

I tried washing this with a darker coloured mat to save on costs and the colours ran so now I have a sandy coloured mat rather than a beige one but it still works well. Our main entranceway opens straight into our living room so we were always getting mud and footprints across the laminate floor but there has been a noticeable difference since we started using this. It gets muddy quickly of course but washes well as long as you keep it separate!

We upgraded our kitchen and decided to have a tiled floor. However we have two dogs who do tend to get rather muddy and these mats work really well. I actually have 3 large ones and one small doormat so you can tell how pleased I am with them. They hoover up well and when they get dirty you can just stick them in the washing machine. Perfect.

I had high hope for this Mat, but it does not soak up water off my dogs paws any better than a “normal mat” for half the price. Wet paw print galore across my kitchen floor.

A lower quality mat, not a turtle mat.
