. I really like the quality of Hawaii Pharm products. This one is top notch, very potent, good for anyone looking for real quinine.. Worked well for my neck, shoulder, and leg cramps that could make a productive day impossible let alone a good night sleep. Just one dropper full of this stuff in water and you could hear the knots coming undone in my neck, literally hear it pop bit by bit for 20 or so minutes. Also gave a bottle to an old friend of my father, who has tried everything doctors could through at him over the past 3 decades to cope with his chronic leg cramps, says it’s not perfect but he is getting some of the best sleep he’s had in a long time, now that he can go almost a full night without waking in agony. And when he does wake up he says it’s manageable and can simply stretch it out without getting out of bed.. So may not be a magic cure but worth a try if you suffer chronic spasms or cramps, at the very least you may be like my friend who can get some sleep now or like me, I rarely have any spasms now and when I feel my neck tightening I just drink some down and it goes away in 10-20 minutes, sometimes faster.. Ps: A 4oz bottle will last 90-120 days if you take 1-2 doses a day like my friend or over a year if you only take it once every 3-4 days like me.. Ps2: It is really strong tasting; it is made from bitter tasting bark of a tree or shrub of the same family. Still worth a try if you’re tired of pain that could last all day, and night. I ordered this first of all for leg cramps which were hounding me night after night after night. I tried so many different products. And I mean many. I spent enough money on trying products that didn’t work that I could’ve bought a gorgeous couch for my living room. This stuff stops leg cramps, but there is a beneficial side effect that I can’t say enough about. This helps me sleep and relieves aches and pains in my joints and muscles. It also keeps me relaxed throughout the day. I mix it with diet tonic water and drink it before I go to bed. Sometimes I drink it during the day. I cannot live without this stuff. It is Sensational. Thank God I found this. I use two or 3 half eyedroppers full in my tonic water each time. I’ve had this product 3 months, use it once or twice a day and the bottle is still about half full, probably enough for another almost 3 months. So the price of the 4 ounce bottle though it may seem pricey is not, because it lasts a long time. This is one of those essential products that I hope will always be manufactured and will be sold by Amazon. No negatives for me.

I have a low potassium issue which causes muscle cramps. In addition to prescription mega doses of potassium, my doctor suggested taking magnesium and quinine (which can be found in tonic water) to help combat frequent muscle cramps. I have suffered with night leg cramps for years. A good night was when I would only have to get up a couple of time to stretch out my legs. A bad night could have been dragging myself to the bathtub to run my legs under hot water or getting up 20+ times to relieve the cramps. I received this tincture on 4/22/2017 and started taking 1 dropper full in a small glass of water every night before going to sleep. Since I started this new routine, i have had to relieve cramps at night maybe 10 times total and even those cramps were mild not the horrific ones I have had in the past. As of today, it has been days and days since I have any trouble. Maybe the tincture builds up to a certain level to pretty much eliminate them. I have been sleeping better in the last month than I have in 15+ years. I actually have been sleeping so soundly, it amazes me. I have not changed any other routine in my life so I have attribute the change to the Quina Tincture. I hope this continues to work. At this time, it almost seems like a miracle. I am not a young person, working a physical job. I have bursitis, tendonitus and sciatica as well as various cramp issues. I got this to try for the cramps. I never expected the relief for the other inflammatory issues; the daily pain is much reduced. I started out with a recommended dose of 30 drops twice a day, before and after work. Currently I have dropped it to 15 drops twice a day and it has all but completely halted the foot, leg and hand cramps. I have experienced no side effects and will most certainly be continuing this therapy.Bear in mind, I am not an expert, and side effects are always possible. But it is certainly working wonders for me.

Got it for restless leg syndrome, can't say for sure if this actually works for that and the research is inconclusive. However the quality of this product is good. The taste is very very bitter.
