I take this with ginger before my biggest meal of the day. It's not a miracle but seems to speed motility so there is less of the feeling of a brick in my stomach hours after eating.

I was looking for a natural way to improve my metabolism, increase peristalsis and help move food through a small part of my intestines that were partially paralyzed due to injury, surgery and adhesions. To say I was in pain is an understatement. I was bleeding internally and very ill but deemed inoperable unless hemorrhaging due to severe abdominal adhesions. So I was getting blood transfusions and iron infusions. Not a great way to live. I researched for the best natural supplements to increase peristaltic action to suit my needs. This artichoke leaf extract combined with organic ginger and tumeric/curcumin is better for me than any current GI Rx and it works similarly like Zelnorm used to (was taken off the market) but was a life saver for me. This combination along with intermittent fasting, reducing stress and some positive life changes actually cured my GI problems. I'm not saying it will do that for others but I'm writing this because I know others have suffered tremendously due to GI issues and since Zelnorm was taken off the market. I'll be happy if my research helps someone else. This artichoke leaf extract is excellent and I'm very thankful you continue to make it. Please don't stop. I bought it again recently for a friend who's suffering with GI issues and constipation. It is helping her too.

Ok, so far so good. I have been on it for a month. No side effects whatsoever with my Coumadin. I am going to have a blood test in February to see if it helps with a fatty liver. So I will update everyone in February on that aspect. I am just happy that it has no ill affect on my Coumadin levels. So many herbals do. Updates to come. Oh, and we shall see what effects it has on diabetes also. Blood tests will prove if it helps or has no affect on that either. UPDATE........... Had liver enzymes done, and they are back and into the normal range. All blood work came back and it was excellent including diabetes. Now I am no dr., or have any analysis of this stuff but It has done wonders for my blood work!!! No, I don't have any affiliation with this company. Just wanted to update what I found out this past blood testing. I will continue taking this and my Dr. has approved me taking it tooUpdate: Oct 2015 I continue taking this herbal remedy and so far so good. NO ill effects on any blood work. So I will continue taking this product. Liver enzymes are great and so far diabetes is still in the good range with just pills. 5.5 with metphormin. So no ill effects on my blood work either with Coumadin either. whoohoo, I am a happy!UPDATE: THIS WEEK HAD CT SCAN, AND NO MORE FATTY INFUSED LIVER. THIS STUFF WORKS!!!!!!!!!!! Will continue taking to keep up with great liver results! Here it is july, 2017.......... Still taking these pills. I am still a happy man. even happier cause the pills went on sale today so I stocked up for a few extra months. Just wanted to update that these really are a great herbal remedy that truly work. At least for me they have. Cant find much to take, having to take Coumadin the rest of my life. Still taking pills December 2019! Alls good.......

I love this product! I have been dealing with IBS with cronic constipation for at least 10 years. It causes me constant bloating, gas, & pain because my bowels also are slow emptying. When I finally got diagnosed I was tried on several different stomach emptying & GERD medicines. I had terrible reactions to most of them so they were not an option. I was then told to use miralax daily & was put on Linzess. Linzess is terrible. Once you take it you will need to be by a bathroom for the next 2-3 hours, which is no way to live. And the bowel movements are not even productive because they are just liquid. This was no help for the bloating because there is no "bulk" being eliminated from my digestive tract. So one day I read in a Reader's Digest that Artichoke Extract is an old remedy that really works for aiding in digestion so I did some research & decided to try it. I chose Superior Labs because of their pure quality organic ingredients but also because they have a third party quality control system. Since starting the supplement I have regular bowel movements EVERY DAY, which was a big improvement over once or twice a week. My bloating is better (not gone) also because the "stuff" (bile I guess) is actually being moved out of my system. I do not take Linzess anymore. So overall, this product has helped me immensely!

I used the Artichoke supplement along with a Milk Thistle supplement. Artichoke is a thistle plant and also contains sylimarin, like Milk Thistle (which is used for liver benefits). My liver function tests were elevated due to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. My values have now returned to normal. I believe the sylimarin in these supplements contributed to that positive outcome.

Great company! All my questions were answered and given a satisfactory explanation almost the same day. Very happy with the product. I have taken the product since April and noticed a big improvement with mystomach discomfort and GERD- kind of symptoms. No bloating and more regular bowel movements.My Cholesterol levels ( LDL, HDL and triglycerides) have been in abnormal levels for years. I cannot wait to see my lab results during my next physical exam in October.I continue taking the product regularly.
