You can see from the picture the difference in size between the pre wash towel and the post wash towel. . I could probably have stretched the washed one out a little if I ironed it, however I am not in the habit of ironing tea towels!Am returning whole pack.

Ordered 6 pack more than a month ago. The towels arrived quickly, but I found the quality very poor. They are thin - on the picture they must have folded two towels together to make them look fluffy. It says 100% cotton, but doesn't feel as such, feels silky and the threads are quite loose. Tesco's tea towels feel thicker and heavier, honestly. So I decided to return the order and asked for refund. The towels haven't been used, they were sent back using the original packaging. Apparently the seller approved the refund, but for some reason it never happened. Waste of money and time.

Update - Dry naturally after 1st wash as these tea towels do produce a fair bit of lint the 1st time in the machine. Also, as they are cotton, do heed the instructions and wash at a maximum temperature of 40c as anything above will cause a little shrinkage. The tea towels are not colour fast so can be washed with other things without any dye running. Apart from that, I am keeping my rating at 5* as the quality is better than one can expect at such a low price.I read the reviews before buying these and as nearly 1/3 of reviews were negative, I had doubts. However, I am a great fan of "Egyption cotton" so took the risk and I am well pleased that I did. The quality is very good, they are Egyption cotton, even though some reviewers claim they are not which shows what they know. They are not thin as some claim. In fact, these are heavy duty tea towels and should last quite some time. It would be worth mentioning at this point that I can honestly say that these tea towels are thick enough to use as alternatives to oven gloves. They are not small, they are the regular size, with options to get larger ones. The weave is of good quality and the as for the price, at 75p each what do some of these reviewers expect, dodo wool? They are excellent value, definitely "Egyptian cotton" and I definitely recommend them.

These towels are not colour fast, made the mistake of putting a couple in the washing machine with some other light towels which are now a delicate pink! Would not recommend either the quality or practicality of these.

We picked these to ensure we had sufficient to cover washing, drying, and availability for the Kitchen. The quantity was ideal but the quality was poor.Always it is advised and necessary to wash towels of any description before use to ensure all finishing chemicals and dressings are removed and to ensure absorbance. These were washed and came out shrunk, where the stripes shrunk more than the main material. These are the first tea towels we have ever tried ironing to reshape. Otherwise they would look like rags on the rail.It is not a good buy and we would avoid such purchases from Amazon again.

Fabulous purchase!! I really was expecting flimsy kitchen towels BUT NO!!These are excellent quality most probably used in high class restaurants. They are lint free no bits come off the, they was wonderfully, retain their shape and are large that you could if pressed, used them for a hand towel, especially if you've got grubby fingers from gardening or little ones. I cannot express how truly good the quality is so I guess, for how much they cost, please buy and try I promise you will not be disappointed 🤗⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

These have to be the worst tea towels I’ve ever bought in my life.They do not feel like Egyptian Cotton, and they absorb water abysmally.The label does not even have the correct spelling of the word Egyptian, which is simply unacceptable.I have found, when attempting to dry things, that the claim of them being lint-free is completely false. They shed like crazy, meaning you have to spend a lot of time trying to pick small bits of cotton off of the pots you dried.I would wholeheartedly not recommend these to anyone.
