Somerset Levels Rush Mat - Large

Supplier is excellent. We bought 6 of these to cover our kitchen floor. The last lot lasted 10 years on a heavily used floor. now and again we lift it and freshen it up by leaving it outside in light rain shower in summer for a while when it will dry.Our cats inclined to scratch it as it got older hastening its deterioration. The best thing is that this is an economical, attractive natural floor covering which is kind to the legs when standing. Easy to replace a single square with a spare if it gets soiled.

These got a bit damp in a storage space and grew fungi, so sadly they had to go. Beautiful natural product, but look after them

The Rush mat was excellent. Exactly the kind of kitchen mat that we used to get many years ago.We just happened to spot the advert on Amazon.It is really an excellent cover for a very expensive tiled kitchen floor. You can also drop a tea cupon it without breakage!

I bought one large mat , was so pleased that bought 2 more and created an outdoor room under an awning.It's perfect and the product is just as advertised. Very pleased.

This is the second mat I've purchased now. The first one for our utility room, so it has proved its durability for wear and tear. The second one is for use in the hallway - ideal for coping with dogs and their muddy paws on tiled flooring! Large enough to make a difference but easy enough to move and fold when sweeping the floor.

As good as is available these days. I say this comparing it to those which they will be replacing. which seem to be of a more substantial weave. Having said that, they are made from a natural product and I guess the quality will vary from mat to mat. The delivery was very speedy and overall I have no complaint.

Looked and felt great, smelled like a meadow...but fell apart after a few weeks, and when I moved it, found the underside was turning to dust. Would not recommend.Such a shame, because it's a beautiful looking mat.

I grew up with these as a child and had them in our kitchen. Great to have them back and have now got one in the kitchen. one in the playroom and one in a bathroom. They look great and I was able to cut them to size. My only gripe is the spare sewing them back together "twine" is on the stingy side ... never mind ... Jute string will probably do ...
