GildanMen's G2000 Ultra Cotton Adult T-shirt, Orchid, Medium

I ordered this shirt and also the "Gildan 5.3 oz. Heavy Cotton T-Shirt" to compare them. This"Gildan Men's Ultra Cotton Tee" is definitely a heavier weight cotton than the "Gildan 5.3 oz. Heavy Cotton T-Shirt".So basically the "heavy cotton" shirt is thinner.I am guessing this "Gildan Men's Ultra Cotton Tee" is 6.0 oz. or more. It's better quality. The "Gildan 5.3 oz. Heavy Cotton T-Shirt" is getting returned.

I bought this to make a shirt for the MS walk. It's great material and I would highly recommend it! This shirt was far better quality than the other shirts I bought (from somewhere else).

the fit is as angular and sturdy as you'd expect from a heavier gildan tee. it's solid. but after even one cold wash, the bottom hem WILL begin to flip upward and there's no real solution for it except maybe ironing for each wear but i haven't tried that. i got multiple ultra cotton tees (seven colors including three whites) and they all have this same problem. luckily all of them together only cost about the same as buying one or two high-quality shirts. still a bummer though.

The shirt is accurate size-wise, albeit a bit shorter than most t- shirts, but the material is like scratchy canvas- not soft at all! I purchased a couple similar looking t’s from another brand, paid a couple dollars more and got a much better quality, soft cotton. I’m not really complaining, as this one only cost 7 dollars but it will be relegated as a work shirt and probably just be thrown away soon.

My advice: Pick a few of your favorite fitting t-shirts, and get their relevant measurements to use as a guide. Then, buy the shirt size that comes closest to those ideal measurements.I bought both the MEDIUM and LARGE sized shirts. For me, I preferred the MEDIUM, but some people might prefer a LARGE for a looser fit.My current stats:Height = 6 ftWeight = 193 poundsChest = 41”Biceps = 15”Waist (around the love handles) = 36.5”After washing in hot water and drying on high heat dryer settings, the length shrunk about 1 to 2 inches. The other measurements shrunk about .25 inches.I've uploaded images showing measurements for the MEDIUM sized and the LARGE sized t-shirts:

It's tough to review this. When I bought these shirts they fit as I liked, if a touch big, but I was satisfied. The let down for me was that after I washed them they shrank significantly, to the point I consider them too small. And I'm quite paranoid about shrinking clothes, I'm a big guy, so I always dry my laundry on the lowest heat available and do not overdry anything. I would not recommended these shirts.

In this global manufacturing economy, I have a hard time finding consistency in size and quality from order to order on any clothing. I was very pleased to find Gildan's Ultra Cotton Tee is still true to the size and quality of material they used three years ago. I now intend to order a 5 year supply.

Shirt is made of a good material, but is a bit larger than any of my other Gildan shirts of the same size. The stitching around the collar of the shirt has begun to tear around the collar in the back of the neck, could be due to me pulling the tag off though I tend to believe that was not the reason. I own many Gildan shirts, none of which still have the tag, and none of which are ripping up at the stitching. I will keep this and wear it because it is comfortable to wear, but this is an issue nonetheless.Also, be wary: this shirt will make you look like Caillou if worn with blue jeans.

It is a nice tshirt but unless i have go e colour blind it should be green

Estaba buscando una opción de playeras básicas con buena relación calidad-precio y en internet leí muchas recomendaciones de Gildan tanto por impresores como en el ámbito del Streetwear.Lo primero que llama la atención es la variedad de colores, hay opciones para crear outfits y no hace falta limitarse a "tonos de súpermercado" como azul marino, negro y blanco. La tela y construcción es resistente y ya llevo con ellas más de un año y todavía están, aunque evidentemente no perfectas, en buen estado, además son de buena longitud, mido 1.83 y no me quedan cortas. Quizás, dependiendo de la estatura, para algunos pudieran verse un poco oversized en la longitud, aunque no de los hombros.

Hard to complain considering the price point but 2 negatives for me.1st problem for and possibly others -sizing.I sized myself prior to buying with a 43" chest.The Shops sizing chart would be a tight L (44") or I thought a more comfortable XL (48"), I bought the XL.The armpit seam feels tight and the sleeve pulls short without effort when I raise my arms.The shirt length is a little short for extending over my belt the way that I like, though I'm taller at 6'1" (185cm).The second problem that may only be limited to the shirt I bought is that it had a glue mark on it.Wasn't sure what it was when I opened the package and looked at the shirt.Looked like paint or glue.Scratched at it with my fingernail, didn't remove.Slightly shaved at it with a shiny new box cutter, didn't remove.Originally bought as a work utility shirt, so can't be bothered to return it, but would have been nice to have a spotless black shirt.
