Pain gone for sure
This supplement is really working. Prior to this I was using Omega 3 of another famous brand but it was not giving me that expected result. However, this one is giving me a lot of relief from my joint pain. It started working from 3rd day of using. I recommend it for all.

Replace with natural diet
what I feel about omega 3 supplements is that it's either helpful when you are not getting enough nutrition from regular diet or recovery after illness is it ever beneficial. I have bought couple of brands of Omega supplements for myself and my parents too. but I don't see a difference after consumption either with regular good brands like now foods or this expensive brand ...only thing is the capsules are large in size for this brand. I've even tried wild Alaskan brand which has a certificate/lab test etc etc but in general all these supplements work like placebo.so just switch to natural diet for better absorption and now way is it helpful like all these reviews claim, spending 6k on this.

Good fish oil caps, but price is fructuating
I bought Dr Tobias capsules in the month vof August 2020 . I m a regular user of fish oil and these capsules are of average plus quality, but recently there is a drastic price fluctuations of this product on Amazon. I purchased it for 4 k + and after one day it became 7400 then 6400 . Now on 19/9/20, when I m writing this review, the price is 3075. Why so much of price fluctuations. It leaves the customer skeptical and cheated about the product. No other popular omega 3 capsules which are popular, have no fluctuations of price on Amazon.

OK if you want to avoid fish burps, otherwise look elsewhere
My boyfriend bought these for us to use as a daily supplement. His reasoning for picking this brand is because many people report that there is no fishy after taste or "fish burps." After using these fish oil softgels for about a month, I must say that I agree. Compared to the CVS brand we were using before, these are slightly smaller in size and easy to swallow (please continue to read below, main concern listed at the very end). Some thoughts and concerns that may lead me to try a different brand after we have finished this bottle:**The label clearly states that their statements have not been evaluated by the FDA, however the product has been manufactured and packaged in a FDA inspected facility; this worries me because it claims to have been tested for mercury, PCB, and other toxins. After conducting my own research, the International Fish Oil Standards (IFOS) Program is the only third party company to test and certify brands of fish oil for purity, potency, and freshness. (Maintaining consistency throughout the manufacturing process is often an issue for fish oil, you do not always get 100% of what is listed on the bottle). I highly recommend looking into their website along with their list of certified fish oil companies. While browsing through the list you can read the full consumer report which tells you everything you need to know about the ingredients, what the standard limits are (for various toxins, metals, etc.), and exactly how much was found in the tested batch.**The claim "triple strength" on the front of the bottle is deceiving in the sense that many people will believe this brand contains a higher potency or concentration - the truth is that their trifecta refers to the fact that it contains omega-3's, DHA's, and EPA's. These softgels do not contain EXTRA strength, it is very common to find DHA and EPA with omega-3's in fish oil.**There are 180 softgels per bottle, but that equals 90 servings, or roughly a three month supply, for one person. I find greater simplicity in my morning routine with single doses, as opposed to taking multiples of daily supplements.**The recommended dose with this brand is two (2) softgels a day because EACH single softgel contains 1,000mg of fish oil, and 700mg of that is omega-3's. Keep in mind that the recommended daily dosage for omega-3's is anywhere between 2,000-4,000mg (depending on the individual's needs and current diet). So, even when taking the dose of two softgels a day, you are only receiving 1,400mg of omega-3's - not a full, daily dosage.**After doing the math, PER single softgel there is roughly 23% (400mg) EPA's and roughly 17% (300mg) DHA's. The higher the percentage means you will see greater advantages. Usually high quality companies contain higher concentrations of these ingredients. The best form of DHA's and EPA's is in a triglyceride, though this label does not clarify. Triglycerides, in comparison to ethyl esters, are easily recognized by the body whereas ethyl esters are not necessarily (ethyl ester's have only been seen in human diet consumption over the last 20 years).**Another new ingredient in human diet, included in this product, is HPMC - commonly used as a thickener, . The ingredient has been approved by the FDA for human consumption, but an acceptable daily intake has not yet been established. Despite the fact that it is FDA approved and claims that there is no risk to humans, I personally do not trust the ingredient as it would not be the first time that a mistake was made by the FDA regarding health.**This product does contain gelatin, commonly used as capsule material. It also contains vegetable glycerin, commonly used to harden the capsule and prevent breakage.**DO NOT ALLOW EXTENDED EXPOSURE TO LIGHT. Oxidation may occur due to light exposure and consuming oxidized oils can be very harmful to health.**The added vitamin E works like a tocopherol, which helps to prevent oxidation.**Upon the allergy warning, it does list that it contains soy. Any added soy, nuts, or gluten may be an indication that the product is not completely pure.**Since this is a fish oil, it will obviously contain some type of fish. Based on the allergy warning, the only fish listed is sardines, which is very commonly used. Other common options (listed by increasing price) include anchovy, salmon, and krill. Krill is newer on the market and contains significantly less fat, however do your research before purchasing.**MAIN CONCERN: Enteric coating. This ingredient is what brought many people here to try the product because this helps prevent the fishy after taste. However, most enteric coatings are made from synthetic materials that may contain harmful BPA or PVC. Some companies use an enteric coating to mask poor fish oil quality (I do not believe that this is the case with this product, but it is something to keep in mind when researching other brands). Most enteric coatings are acid-resistant, meaning that it will not dissolve in your stomach. This is good to prevent fish burps, but may have other unpleasant effects depending on the individual. If all goes well, the fish oil softgel will travel safely from your stomach to your small intestine. Once it reaches the neutral pH of your small intestine it will quickly breakdown in just minutes. For those not so lucky, this might not be the case. If you regularly take antacids or heartburn medication, eat a vegan diet, are highly stressed, or have an infection, you may not have success with enteric coatings. These types of products or situations reduce the acid in your stomach, which makes the softgel think it has reached the neutral small intestine, therefore breaking down in the stomach and results in fish burps. On the other hand, if your diet has a high acidic content, the softgels may not dissolve at all in your body and pass right through your stomach, small intestine, and out the other end.Below are some articles and websites that I used when researching fish oil, some of the information was used to construct this review. I completely believe in knowing exactly what you are putting into your body because in today's world there is deceit around every corner. Personally I would not recommend this product if you are concerned about the products you ingest. Many people have had success with this product, and I am not saying that I have had a bad experience. I just wish that we had done more research on what the ingredients are before purchasing. Being aware of the ingredients is also only 50% of research - the other 50% is often difficult, extensive research on the company and their practices. In this case that may involve investigating their manufacturing process, where they obtain their fish, what they use to create the enteric coating, etc. If avoiding the unpleasant fishy taste and fish burps is your main concern, then this may very well be the right product for you. If you are truly looking for a quality fish oil, I would recommend continuing your research because you may find a different brand that suits your needs. What to look for in fish oil: [...]International Fish Oil Standards:[...]Triglycerides vs Ethyl Esters: [...]Enteric Coatings:[...]

Absolutely zero fish burps.
I tried several brands that were touted as zero fishy taste. Although many of them were mostly ok, none have been as consistently fish flavor free as Dr Tobias. I've been a repeate buyer for years now and have never had a single disgusting fish flavored burp like so many other quality brands produce.

No upset stomach or burping!
The size of these pills is a bit off putting, but they do go down easily enough when you drink them with water. In the photo the Omega is the gel looking pill closest to the ruler, the top capsule is my multi vitamin. The best thing about them is there is no nasty after taste, they don't upset my stomach or give me the burps like other fish oil supplements I have tried in the past! I take a lot of supplements on a daily basis, so adding these wasn't that big of a deal. The price is not bad, but not super great either. I think it's worth the cost to improve my health, especially if I get the results I am hoping for. I'll let you know in a few months if it got my cholesterol levels where they should be. Hope this helps.
