Why does Amazon care so much that I provide a review for 3' purple HDMI cables? Every time I go to the site, there is a huge badge right at the top of the screen asking me to review these 3' purple HDMI cables. It takes up far too much of the screen real estate, this constant command to review 3' purple HDMI cables.Is it because they are purple? The purple is nice. It is a somewhat bluer shade of purple, which I like. It would have been 4 stars if they were a more reddish purple. You often see companies try to convince you that something that should be labelled "maroon" is actually purple. But since that is not the case here, 5 stars!And they are definitely 3 feet long. I mean, I think. I haven't actually measured them. That seems far too OCD-ish for me, who can get pretty OCD at times (does mentioning that here count as OCD as well? I hope not).Plus, the cables plug into HDMI ports just fine. No worries there. And they transmit the electrons from my laptop to my second screen just fine, in the right format I presume, so that I can use that second screen. It IS about electrons, right? I know that some of my home theatre equipment has optical cables, but I don't think that's HDMI? If it was photons or something I'd feel pretty darn foolish for writing this, so I hope it is.So there it is, Amazon, my review for 3' purple HDMI cables. Now can you please stop bugging me? Or will this now be replaced by something that takes up 1/4 of my screen (the one that is connected to my laptop by my just perfectly fine working 3' purple HDMI cables) commanding me to review the Omega-3 supplements that I order for one of my dogs, or maybe that new handle I bought for the microwave after somebody accidentally tore off the old one (seriously, I didn't even get angry or turn green or anything - I was just trying to open it!).

I bought two of the 1.5' cables for short cables to be used splitting the outputs of a Nintendo switch and ps4 on one input, since I don't have a lot of hdmi inputs on my TV.The first cable didn't work properly; the signal would cut in and out on the ps4 as well as every electronic I tried; With how cheap these are, I'm not returning it, it's just not worth the time and money.The second cable seems to work, but I'll update this review if it fails.With the giant plastic cap around the edge of the cable, which I assume covers up the thing that helps with hdmi interference, it wouldn't fit in the dock for the nintendo switch without removing the back cover off the dock. I don't necessarily think these cables are a good value, and this is the first cable I've ever had give me signal issues.

I was skeptical of Monoprice's claim that the ferrite core would block interference, but I was desperate to find a solution to the interference my treadmill sent to my projector which was completely knocking out the signal, so I bought it. Not only does it provide a brilliantly clear signal, it also eliminated the interference to the projector from the treadmill. I definitely recommend buying this cable.

These have a large inline cylinder, carefully cropped from the product photo, that may be incompatible with devices that have built in cable management, such as the Nintendo Switch dock. The cable diameter is quite thick, which, combined with the short cable length, makes these very stiff and difficult to route around tight spaces.

wanted a short length HDMI cable. Monoprice was affordable and 1.5 feet long but appears to be more like 1 foot.. This cable has a large round barrel on each end toward the connector. It is bulky and weird looking. Not sure if I am able to pry off those bulky round hard Ferrite Core plastic barrel thingy's - protect against frequency interference but really not needed. The cable is also thicker than expected with not much flexibility get 28AWG or 32 AWG as thinner this appears to be 24 AWG. Maybe for a few dollars more get a HDMI cable from another company or AmazonBasic. It is useable just hate the design.Updated, had made changes to my initial review as this is still day one. Both Audio and Video are intermittent as they cut out. Never seen anything like it, I mean a wire is a wire, as for continuity it checks out good. Think it has to do with Impedance matching - bandwidth. Either way avoid Monoprice. I am certain over the last 5 years have purchased at least 2 other items from Monoprice but they just don't last. You get what you pay for. Cheap is dirt cheap quality. At 1st gave 3 Stars now changed to a 1 Star. Wished there was Zero Star? Wasted $6.

This Cable I bought to attach to the thunderbolt connector for my laptop, since this was the cheaper route to connect my Macbook to the Samsung TV. The HDMI connection to the thunderbolt connector was very tight, and I would not have to worry about it getting loose.Before I purchased this HDMI cable,I shopped around first at a nearby Walmart. There are cables in the market that are priced too high to get the money out of those people who are willing to pay the price. Those people always believed that if the price is high, the product must be very good. For digital signal transmission, this HDMI cable is more than adequate. My video and audio were not degraded, and I did not notice any lost of clarity either on video or audio signal.The cables came in through the USPS in about a week.If you are looking to connect your laptop to the TV, get this sleek HDMI cable and an additional Thunderbolt connector for about $3 on amazon and you're good to go. All of which costed less than $10

Got what I paid for I suppose. Will upgrade when I can afford it.

My husband falls asleep to the TV to keep work off the brain so these cables seem better equipped to deal with heat distribution. Also the couple times a year that he gets re-addicted to the X-Box and the hours unexpectedly slip by; there are less issues with the game/power system having quirky issues. More cables should pay attention to heat distribution in my opinion or maybe they are improving them in less obvious ways. I am just the geek who enjoys trying to keep everything running smoothly

Hasta ahora funciona muy bien y por el precio es prácticamente una oferta inmejorable, no me importa mucho lo del color porque a final de cuentas el funcionamiento es la clave para el desempeño del producto. Lo he probado únicamente con una pantalla y el sonido e imagen funcionaron bien, después de ahí lo puse sólo en una pantalla conectándole un CPU y esta funcionando bien. Habrá que ver si aguanta la prueba del tiempo.
