DC Collectibles DC Comics - The New 52: Batgirl Action Figure

Although Batgirls hair broke off and the gun (as soon as I took it out of the box), my niece still loves her action figure and it still looks good even without the Hair. Mind you the owner is 7years old so as a collectible it's still pretty sturdy. (Minus fun incident)

My Batgirl is perfect. Her eyes are done right. Her paint is good. The hair is gorgeous.the bad thing is she can't actually hold her gun.This figure would look good in any collection. :)

Great figure, nice detail. Excellent display piece (except the previously mentioned clasp on the cape, but that's a minor detail).Kids warning: not the greatest figure for kids. Gave this to my daughter, and after about 4 hours of play, the cape is dangerously close to coming off and the hair has popped off.Reattaching the hair was not as simple as I thought (tried 5 min epoxy, Superglue Gel, hot glue, even 3M Super 77) Currently using LocTite Plastics Bonding System (activator + super glue), which seems to be working so far.This will probably stay on the bookshelf.

Well I ordered this figure for my gal and the first figure was literally half-@$$ed. The figure had two left legs, so half of Batgirl's behind was on her front. I returned it and ordered another figure and it was flawless. The new figure even had a better paint job than the first! My girlfriend approves as well.

My daughter loves Batgirl and we got her this for her birthday. I was really pleased with how quickly this was shipped to us since I had ordered it with Prime from another seller and over a month later (and after her birthday) it still had not shipped. So I cancelled that order and reordered from here. I had this within the week. She was thrilled with the figure. It is solidly made and stands without a stand to display it with her other super heroes. The detail on the face is better than we thought it would be.

Probably the worst figure I've ever owned.* Hair broke while removing from the packaging. Tore off where the hair meets the head. Terrible construction* Cap snapped off within an hour of examining it. Similar issues to the hair. Not flexible what so ever.* Joints are tight (which usually is a good thing), but knee joint snapped when trying to pose her the first time.* Bat gun is poorly made and was damned before placement into her handIf you're looking for something to say in the box to look at..it's okay. the sculpting is not terrible, but if you're going to open it to pose and display..don't bother. I will not buy again even to keep in box.

Hooray for strong female role models, but these are not durable enough for my daughter. It took her only a couple hours of ownership to destroy it. I found the hair and body discarded and laying in the hallway. I later found the head.

This is an acceptable Batgirl figure. The body sculpt and paint work are truly perfect and satisfying. But what really breaks the deal for me loving this figure, is the head scupt. To get my major issue with this out of the way, this head is just terrible. What really throughs me off with it is the face. Although the paint work is done well, the eyes looks horribly bug-eyes to the point where it is uncontrollably distracting. They are nearly perfect circles and not naturally shaped. For weeks, I have tried to ignore it, but I can't deny that they just don't look right. Also the mouth expression is very unflattering. The lips show the teeth in a neutral, but dopey looking expression. I would have preferred either an anger or smiling/smirking expression. Aside from the ugly sculpt work on the face, the paint is done very well, and that goes for the entire figure. The eyes are painted blue and perfectly centered. The red lipstick and teeth are done with clean paint work as well. The rest of the figure has phenomenal paint on the costume. This version of Batgirl used the black and yellow costume look, which is my favorite color scheme for Barbara Gordon. The yellow paint they used is super bright and illuminates perfectly from the black costume border. The yellow belt, bat symbol, inner cape and long boots and gloves are a perfect color balance. The black parts of the suit have this amazing armored texture that look very good. The paint for the armor isn't just black. It also has the dark grey wash to let the sculpt details pop out easier. Only accessory she comes with is a yellow grapple gun with a string and hook attached to it. Unfortunately, this is unstantly useless due to it being impossible to fit it in her hand (one hand is fisted). The handle is just way too big to fit in her microscopic hand. This is so close to being a Batgirl figure that would satisfy me. If you are talented enough to switch that head out with a better one and match that black paint somehow, this really could potentially be the perfect DC Collectibles Batgirl figure. Since you are not expected to do that, I cannot fully recommend this. I hope I've helped you out. Thanks for reading my review!
