BMW 3-Series & Z4 (99-05) Haynes Repair Manual (USA) (Paperback)

As all Haynes manual books, this one also is a Top Notch. Full of priceless informations and advises. I can't recommend them more than that. I could only wish that the photos inside where more clearly visible and in colour.

The quality could be improved with a hardback, better quality page paper and maybe some colour pictures - it is not what we should expect the quality of a throwaway monthly car magazine.The content is useful, especially, for example, with an engine strip-down but when I wanted to replace my heated rear window, the manual said take it to a dealer! What I want, is to read how to do it and then to make my own decision as to whether or not to start the job. In the end I completed the work with a bit of savvy but no help from the manual.

It is suitable for my 2000 'French' 318 coupe, have used it for brake pad renewing noting the advice on bleeding as the calipers are opened out. Door locks to sort (common problem apparently) and engine (minor) warning light to do!

Years ago Haynes manual did not provide any info that I needed for my antiques. Recently I purchased one for my 20 classic and I was completely satisfied with the purchase . They have improved dramatically and provide all the information you need to keep your car in great shape.....I give the 5 rating.

It is a very useful book for beginner mechanics, as it has black and white pictures, and has great tips. At the moment I have used it for front strut removal and spring change, fuel filter change and partly for park brake adjustments.
