BlundstoneThermal Chelsea Boots - Unisex

Bought these to go into the office whenever it snows or there is ice all over the street. To that effect they fit in perfectly in a business casual environment (much better than my old timberland hiking boots) so I'm very happy with the purchase. The boots are warm and the sheepskin insole are very comfortable.The only problem I had with them is that the top back of the shoe was very stiff at first, hurting my heel. I bought heel pads to fix this, which it did, and after the pads wore down after 3-4 weeks I found that the the shoe had sufficiently broken down to where I no longer needed the pads and now I have no issues with it whatsoever.

Came with the animal fur insoles so the feet stay warm in winter.Be sure to apply weathering wax or water protection as if they get wet there is little you can do to save them. Unfortunately I didn't weather proof the INSIDE of the shoe and as water invariably got in during snowy weather, the leather inside started to fall apart at the heel causing intense pain and discomfort. I cut away the damaged parts and replaced the insoles to keep them wearable but they don't see as much use due to the bad smell from the inside despite application of tea tree oils and other deoderants.Not sure If I could have done anything differently to care for these better but they were good for 2 winters of use until they became an issue.

These shoes are one of the best pair of shoes I purchased. I have been wearing them for about 2,5 months now. Here are the advantages and disadvantages that I so far found!Advantages- High quality materials inside and outside.- Don't get wet in snow and rain.- Insanely comfortable, I can wear them all day long and they don't make my feet tired at all.- Don't make feet smell or sweat.- Looks amazing.Disadvantages- The price. Yes, the price is really highAlso, by reading all the reviews I decided to order a size bigger and that was a bad decision. I started the process of changing the item, and requested a size smaller shoes, and I did not even manage to send my old pair, when my new pair already arrived. Took about 2 days. Service is awesome too!Overall I would definitely recommend getting blundstone shoes if you can afford it. I strongly believe this is my first, but not last experience with them!Will update if anything changes!Update: Sept 7, 2017Have been still using them.Still feel amazing and keep my feet warm!

I have somewhat deformed feet super extra wide I think I wear an 11 1/2 6E truth be told! The rub lies in the fact that I’m supposed to wear an orthotic, and they are just a little too tight with the orthotic, but I may not need to wear that all the time that is to be found out. I prefer them without the orthotic they are quite roomy on the inside. Very very comfortable! I love them PS without the orthotic I can almost slip in and out of them. I say almost because my left foot is smaller but my right foot is a little bigger so it needs a little more help.

I’ve had my previous Chelsea Blundstones for over 5 years and they’re definitely showing their wear and tear. I wear them usually about 4 or 5 days a week, rain or shine and I live on a farm!They’re great multi purpose boots for either dress down or up but wanted a new pair in black. I decided to get the waterproof style with warm sheepskin like inner sole.I received them and they just fit all around poorly. Fit is altogether different from the standard Chelsea boot. Length was a full thump space too long. I tried readjusting with different weight socks but they still weren’t quite right so I sent them back.I did re-order the regular black boot like my previous pair.I wanted to love them but that didn’t work out well...

Unisex SizingI found the best sizing help came from printing out the company's foot measuring tool from their website and measuring my feet. I had one foot that measured a perfect AUS 7 while the other was a little larger, over the line but not by much. The AUS 7 boots fit perfectly on my foot that measured a 7, but were a hair too short on the larger foot, so the size chart was very accurate. Taking out the sheepskin insole created just enough room for my boots to fit. To find the printable foot measuring chart, go to Blundstone's website and then use the pull down menu on the upper right to switch the country to Australia.Another important sizing note is that Blundstone only makes footbeds/soles in whole sizes, I called the US distributor to confirm that this was still the case for all boots sold in the US. Half sizes use the same footbed/insole as the whole sizes (i.e., they are not longer), but have a roomier leather upper, allowing more width or volume for feet that need it.Women's SizesBlundstone's conversions for U.S. Women's sizes seem off. I ordered these boots in an AUS/UK 7, down 2.5 sizes from my regular US Women's 9.5. Blundstone recommends ordering 3 sizes down to convert from US Women's sizes, but when I checked reviews, a good number of women posting reviews had to exchange their boots for a larger size. After going down 2.5 sizes, my boots barely fit. Many other companies that use AUS/UK sizing recommend going down 2 sizes to convert, and this seems like solid advice for Blunnies, too.

I love this boot! Very comfortable, roomy enough for my bunion. Shearling insole is super cozy. Easy on/off. They didn't need any breaking in period, I have been wearing them constantly! I wear them with nicer clothes to work and with jeans on the weekend. I actually had to size down I wear a 10 normally, but needed a 9.5. Love that they are waterproof. I will definitely be buying more blundstone in the future, and also get some for my husband!

I really love the boot, coming with two pair of removable inserts one with the wool and the other with reg insert pad I was loving them! Unfortunately I had to return them do to the stitch had a defective! I still looking to buy another pair I just love them, but I was afraid if I kept the pair I would have to go to a shoe repair and that was to early because I only worn them for like 3 days

Beautiful and comfortable.Nice blue label and nice rustic patina from the start, besides they don’t need breaking in. They are not waterproof. At least my batch wasn’t.Now then, they run a size too large and eventually give, so I would recommend ordering a size smaller for the perfect fit, as I find I have to wear thick socks with them, and unnecessarily so. If you order a size smaller they will give proportionally in all the right places rather than generally loose their shape. I should’ve exchanged them for a smaller but didn’t as they were so attractive.You have been warned.

I LOVE these boots. So comfy. Great for air travel as easy to get on and off. My pair were at least a half size too big, but I've put gel inserts in and they're perfect; even better for a lot of walking.

My favourite boots by far. They are comfortable from day one and didn't need breaking in. They stay waterproof if you regularly apply the recommended conditioner

I really liked the shoes, it is sturdy but also looks good. Fits true to size. Unfortunately I had to return as the insoles were not equal thickness. The left insole thickness was the half the size of the right one. I had to return them as they hugged the feet differently and without the insoles the shoe was not comfortable to wear. I did some research to see if I can replace the insoles but couldn't find the 'thinsulate' insoles that are also furry and soft like this one.
