S&B Filters 75-5075-1 Cold Air Intake For 2011-2016 Chevy/GMC Duramax 6.6L (Oiled Cleanable, 8-ply Cotton Filter)

Worth the money! I have had a lot of modern cars trucks etc needing a cold air intake. The packaging is nice gives you comfort with the giant “will not void warranty” on the outside of the box. I didn’t use the instructions installed a few in my time, but very simple to install. The inside of the intake has been polished and very smooth “better air flow”. Very large and well fitting couplers. The thing that I really loved about this company is they included the tool a torques bit for some of the sensors. I have all my tools at work and wasn’t sure if I had the right bit. They went the extra mile to include a tool for it! I would buy this 100 times again!! I wish I could give them a 10 star review!

Easy install, great instructions, well made, and looks great. Throttle response seems better. I also installed a filter wrap to extend the filter life. So far so good!

Put on about 5,000 miles with this intake and have noticed a couple major differences. A good 3,000 of those miles were towing. The first thing I noticed while towing on a 70 degree day was that my EGT (Exhaust Gas Temp) went down by 100 to 200 degrees. Truck used to get to high 1,100 to low 1,200 degrees on a similarly 70 degree day with the same hauled load. The second noticeable change was my transmission temp. Usually my trans temp would be 100 degrees more than the ambient air temperature outside. Sometimes a little hotter. But again, while towing, the trans temp stayed steadily 20 degrees cooler than it normally would run.It came with a rubber seal/cover for the secondary intake hole. My above results are with the secondary hole open. I am currently planning to plug that hole to see if the truck still runs cooler while pulling air strictly from the factory fender flow.Overall a great product. It does what was advertised and some. Also very easy to install.

Looks nice under the hood, well built, and easy to install. Fit right up and doesn't turn the check engine light on!

I bought this after having my truck three years and going back and forth about trading or keeping. I should have just bought it earlier. I used a similar intake or two previous Cummins trucks. Now on a Duramax. I put it on for a 3400 mile trip and feel it helped my mileage. The only challenge is keeping the foot out of the gas because the acceleration is much improved.

I Highly recommend this filter and intake for anyone with a diesel. Install was simple. The unit looks and work great. Each time I have taken my truck to the shop for maintenance (oil changes) I am questioned about the intake as the mechanics want one for their diesel trucks.

Well worth the money. I've been in the car scene for a while and this is definitely on the higher end of quality. I'm happy with the intake, not a huge increase but a noticeable increase especially in spool up and throttle response. Makes driving the truck more fun.

I looked and looked online for a cold air intake for my 2015 duramax. I finally settled on this and so far I am not disappointed. Install wasn’t terrible as long as you are good with a wrench you should have no issues. The filter will definitely be easier to maintain as you can now access it very easily. The turbo is definitely louder and it feels like it has a little more pep. Overall satisfied so far.

The delivery was slow but great product easy enuf to install and sounds way better and more turbo noise

Are gifts five stars because of the reviews on YouTube but I haven't yet installed it on my truck I will keep you informed
