Baby Brine Shrimp Egg Artemia Cysts 90% Hatch Rate Product of the USA Weight : 1 oz Hatching Brine Shrimp Eggs Storing Brine Shrimp Eggs First of all, you need to start with healthy, properly stored eggs. All brine shrimp eggs need to be stored as follows: * in a tightly sealed container; * free from moisture; and * in a cool environment at or below 50°F. (Refrigeration is ideal for short term storage, i.e., less than three to four weeks; for longer term storage, eggs are best kept at or below freezing.) We recommend that upon receiving your eggs, dividing them into an amount that will be consumed within three to four weeks and storing this amount in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator; the remainder should be stored, also in a tightly sealed container, in the freezer. Keep in mind that freezing can lower metabolic activity and delay hatch-out. We suggest removing egg from the freezer one day in advance of using it.

Hit or miss. First time excellent hatch rate, this time hatch rate horrible! Disappointed fish :(
First time I purchased this product, it came quick, the hatch rate was EXCELLENT! Unfortunately, this time, what I received looked identical to the first batch, but the hatch rate was extremely low, and I probably will not be buying it again because it's not worth risking the $20 every month if I'm not getting the same quality every time. My poor fish need to eat.

this item came in a bag which was open/broken inside the package. Also, the item is listed as a CAN in the front picture which was very deceiving.

EXTREMELY MISLEADING x16!
.. Spring of 2013 I decided to set up a small Native Swamp Tank for Pygmy Sunfish. Friend said he had an old can of brine shrimp eggs laying around and that he would send it to me .. with instructions to keep in freezer after opening .. now after 4 years of nearly 24/7 of churning out baby brine The can is getting low. A picture of the 16 oz can for offer on one ounce bag had me turn away from this offer on this most excellent product.
