SkechersWomen's Fortress Clog Slipper

I was hoping these were a "shoe" and not look like a slipper since I plan on wearing them when I'm out and about this winter. They're definately a SHOE, not a slipper. Doesn't look at all like slippers. They're comfortable and warm. I was a bit concerned after reading the reviews that they might run small...I didn't find that to be true. I'm tall and I wear a size 10 and these shoes ran true to size. My foot width is between a medium and a wide and these are a comfortable fit. They have a thick lining that feels really warm and soft and I don't see a reason one would need to wear thick socks with these, but if you prefer thick socks, these will probably feel snug, unless you wear a narrow shoe size. The style: Think the traditional Sketcher clog like this but with a Doc Martin rugged sole, which is what makes them look nothing like a slipper. They initially feel a little heavy after wearing sandals all summer, but after a couple of minutes of walking in them I naturally adjusted to the weight and feel of them. The sole is soft, rubbery and grips, not that hard plastic that's slippery when it cold, wet or icy out. The sole is 1.5" at the toe and 2" at the heel. I measured because it actually looks chunkier than that, but the thickness was as described in the shoe details. The inner is a soft furry lining that feels like excellent quality acrylic and the upper is made of smooth tightly tanned leather suede. I have used the spray water-proofing on this type of shoe leather before with great results so I will most likely do the same with these...Almost a must if you live in the wintery snow belt to protect from all the salt. (A couple of light mistings, drying between each misting works really well). They're comfortable and fashionable, will go with jeans, yoga pants, active wear and slacks. I'm super pleased with these and will probably order another pair in a different color.Update: In just the few days I've been wearing these, I've gotten multiple compliments and requests for where they could be found, so get them quick before they're sold out!

Great fit, very comfortable. Keeps my feet warm and cozy, while still presentable enough for going out in public.

Love these! Super cozy and nice. I usually get an 8 in pretty much any shoes I buy including sketchers. Got the 8 and my heel was way too close to the edge. Ended up sizing up to a 9!

These shoes are easy to slip on and cute for the snowy days. They are a little snug but also not broken in yet as they are new. Very fluffy inside.

The shoes are comfortable and warm. Even though I can't wear socks because they are a little small. Oh and they are pretty heavy.

Several reviews said these run small, so I ordered a half size up. I wish I hadn’t listened. They are too big, but I’m making them work. They are so comfortable and warm. Sturdy and feel good on my feet.

This is an outdoor shoe not a slipper, unless you want to use it as one. Not really heavy weight wise. Nice thick tread. I ordered 1/2 size smaller because other sketchers I’ve purchased in the past have run large. Fits great! Not sure what other people were complaining about. Just what I wanted!

First impression out of box: sturdy, medium weight, nice color. Sticking my hand into opening was pure delight as the faux fur was so silky. I'd want to wear socks to preserve this texture, but I'm tempted to go barefoot just to feel the smoothness. The shoes fit perfectly and will still have to see how comfortable it is to walk in.REVISED review: The weather got cooler so finally got to try these shoes out. Feels really heavy and hard to walk in with socks because feet slide all over and and even hard to keep shoe on foot. Hurt my feet and ankle trying to walk. Will try with out socks next time but doubtful it will be comfortable. Too bad....

It was a bit difficult to understand hence I was told the shoes will not get here, I will receive a refund. It was a nice pleasant surprise when finally I got them. Second time I buy this shoes so warm and cozy also with 2 dogs to walk is great because is comfort and I do feel safe

Just got these and love them! They are so comfy, cozy and warm. Reading the other reveiws I was a little worried about the weight of them but don't find them heavy at all and I have had 2 hips replaced in the last 18 months. In regards to size listen to the lady who wrote the very helpful reveiw on these and go a size up. I have a 7.5 narrow foot, I ordered an 8.5 and was a little worried they would be too big but glad I did they fit perfectly (by the way I measured my foot and went by the size chart and am exactly a size 7.5) Very good buy well worth the price (really good quality) Extremely happy with my purchase!

Love them , nice grip when walking .....I wish they made them without fur.
