Perfect for hard of hearing.
My mom has been using these for years now and she loves them. They are very simple and easy to use. My mom is extremely hard of hearing but she hears the TV fine with these. My friend saw how well they worked for my mom so she asked me to buy a pair for her dad. He loves them too. He was so excited the first time he watched a movie after receiving them because he could hear every word.

Easy to wear and they sound great. I love them. I use them whenever I watch TV!
I use them whoever I watch TV. We have a noisy blower when the heat or the air is on, which makes hearing your TV hard. These are perfect and comfortable.

Headset and receiver
The receiver that the headset rest in didn't work, had no power. Luckily I had receiver from a older set that worked. Other than that the headset works as intended.

They have no equal, and that's not a compliment
We've been using TV Ears for many years. Not because they are a great product, far from it, but because there is not another product on the market just like them as far as we know. They are relatively easy to connect to your TV, and the headset allows you to hear what's going on around you as well as amplifying the TV sound. They do not last long. The first thing to go is one of the bow arms which will break exposing the inner wires and making it impossible to wear the headset. Notice that the warranty does not cover these, nor does it cover the batteries which are the next thing to go. Then there is the usual failure of the transmitter circuitry after a year or so, if you're lucky. Bottom line, plan on spending $$ to replace parts of the unit or the whole thing on a yearly basis, again, if you're lucky. This stuff is way over-priced and exploits the hearing impaired folks big time. There is a definite need for competition in this market.
