I am asian and most of us have jet black hair. Because of that I wlways felt that it ages me. If you dont want to bleach your hair and get a lighter brown shade of hair, this is the trick to it.I usually let it sit in my hair for an hour and after that I rinse and use the provided shampoo and conditioner. If you want to touch up on roots and apply downwards then it should be a 30min interval between the application from the roots (leave on 30mins) then apply downwards to cover complete hair and let it sit for another 30 mins.Just in case your curious how many of these boxes you need for long hair (almost waist down) you only need 1.Yep I just used 1 for my hair its long and almost to my waist. However I have asian hair so its straight and thin thats why I only used 1 box if your hair is thick and lucious (which I envy) then buy 2 boxes.The color lasts depending on how fast your hair grows. Mine typically lasta between 4-6 months and then I re-apply so as to not dry out my hair often.Buy a color protect conditioner and shampoo to make it last longer and a hair treatment like Honey blends garnier thats a great way to mwke your hair softer and loosen up to compliment the new hair color.

This is my favorite hair color. Hello the shimmering highlights that are included. I use the downtown Brown. I highly recommend you try this color brand.

Have been using this a long time. Natural dark brown hair almost black, have gray hairs, nothing would continue to cover them even though they said they would, but Downtown Brown does! They just look like natural golden highlights now. It is amazing. Got compliments when I started using it, people said, "this color, this color." Lightens up in summer, looks like professional/natural highlights on lighter parts of my hair, the end result looks like a lot of effort but it is really easy. I hope they use this formula and use a rose undertone, that would be amazing. Of all the different colors I have tried ( a lot) this one is just fantastic.

Does NOT cover greys!!!

🤦‍♀️ Disappointed ☹️-my natural hair is ash blonde with gray hairs. Previously I used Feria 63 and it was beautiful but too red. I used this one thinking since it is meant for natural darker hair it would lighten mine and give me subtle highlights...not so. Mousy and brown-ash tones. To remedy and get a lifting effect I have to go to bleach and highlights. I love Feria so with highlights it will be awesome but defeated the ‘one step coloring’, which I get with other colors, like 63. Oh well, back to experimenting 🤞🏻😉‼️

I’ve been using this hair color for many years. I do my own roots touch-up at home, and it saves me hundreds of dollars yearly. It’s easy to use, color is consistent and as pictured on the box. The conditioner that comes with it has a very strong unpleasant smell and doesn’t help my hair, so I toss it immediately.
